that Rufus may have found the Golden Herd a 6'5 300lb offensive lineman.

Maybe the kid can send a tweeter message to his fellow ballers to come win a ring. He is from the metro area, and this seems to be the trendy thang to do up yonder.

In other news, big bad Marietta lost to Eagles Landing (yes, the 1A ELCA) in the championship of a 7on7 they hosted over the weekend.

ELCA plays Knoxville Catholic TN next year in an OOS game. KC won a 5A State Title in '15 and was #1 in TN much of the year last year until they were upset by Fulton in the playoffs.

Think that'll be a goodie. If theres a 1A that can beat a 5A, its ELCA.

KC is in 4A and they were NEVER #1 in Tennessee. They're good, but they can't compete with top 6A teams or the big privates.

What's a hybrid arnett grit? Do you drive it, eat it or pet it?

Hybrid Arnett grits are what Saban feeds to his O-Linemen at Bama.  They're specifically "created" for him.  BUT...Rush being his pal...and peer...(Smile)...he slides a few truckloads our way thru Lime Sink's transportation/import company.  Those hybrid nutrients...along with Colquitt's S&C program...have paid dividends over the last (3) years.

There would have to be more jobs available and the one available seems to have been taken by this kid's dad.  ;-)

How did that scrimmage go between Grayson and Buford yesterday? And I hear that y'all have a 3 star from Grady now....

I've been covered over and didn't get to attend.  Don't know about the 3 star either.  I keep trying to get over to talk to Coach but everything keeps getting in the way.  Worst case I'm spending time with him Saturday and will possibly know more then.  He's my guest at a big community event so we may not get to talk football much.

Gotcha. The 3 star (I think his name is Jaylen) is a safety who recently committed to Northwestern. I swear Grayson is the most talented public school in America. They have to be, don't you think?
