TheRealCAJ
Parkway (Bossier City) "The Panthers will arguably have the most talented team in the state entering the 2017 season. They have the No. 1 and No. 3 players in the state and two of the top 100 recruits from the 2018 class in Justin Rogers and Terrace Marshall. Rogers proved he is one of the best quarterbacks in the country by earning a spot to compete at The Opening later this summer and Marshall checks in as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2018 class and the 5-star talent is the No. 10 recruit overall." NO, not even close. They do have 2 of the best players in the nation though. Need a little more than that on the Bayou.

They had too many LA teams anyway so no Bayou replacement needed 5 is way high for a state that has zero OOS wins v NorCal

FootballGuy
Roswell lost waaayyy more talent than Mill Creek.....but they still remain in the top 100 over MC? interesting. And I expect to see Tucker vs Valdosta again in the 6A championship

TheRealCAJ
Air Rummel will shock the world. West Monroe will be very solid....easily a 5A favorite. Hard to believe their last state title was 6 years ago. Time flies.
HawgGoneIt
Seriously though... On the Georgia 7, it's not a terrible list. Personally, I wouldn't have Cartersville in there as a top 7 team for 2017, nor would I have Valdosta or Colquitt at this point in the year. It appears the MP team is ranking the programs rather than the teams, or like some others have mentioned, Mill Creek would probably belong ahead of a Colquitt or Valdosta at this point. Speculating that Colquitt will finish out in the top 7 in the state is not a bad bet though. Grayson, Roswell, Mill Creek, Lowndes, McEachern, Norcross, North Side Warner Robins... That's a top 7 that makes sense as compared to slopping in a Buford and Cartersville who have talent and coaching but refuse to step up and prove they can beat the big schools with any regularity. Just slopping them in because they have a good qb, good recruiting and annual transfers to reload the graduate positions is lazy and not fair to the teams that play the toughest competition in the state week in and week out. It's appeared that you are much higher on them this season than you were last year, so I was thinking that you seem to be on a level about them rather than largely biased or whatever. I guess I'm high on our new offense more than anything this year. There's potential there to be explosive. Rummel is NOT known for explosive. Not sure yet if we are a complete package though. May develop into something...
