Why would he want to go to USC and sit his first year with no chance to start?

Why would he consider Georgia then? You think Jacob Eason is gonna implode and fade away al a Mitch Mustain?

He would get to Georgia with Eason as a Junior and either have to hope he turns pro, or he would have 2 years riding the bench. Unless he redshirts a year, but if he would do that then he could do it USC.

And being the back up in LA at USC is better than being the starter at GA in Athens ?

Yeah... because USC has been so successful lately.

He wont start over a Junior Jacob Eason... hed have a better chance starting at USC his freshman season. And Jake Fromm would be a Sophomore... kid doesnt lack talent, theres no guarantee he can overtake the 2nd year Early Enrollee.

I dont think women will be a complaint at UGA though.

Don't think so. Darnold is projected to the the #1 pro prospect and preseason Heisman favorite.

A better move for Corral is to play backup for 1 season and then hope to start when Darnold goes pro after next season.

Why would he not choose USC. I have a feeling Darnold goes pro after this season. Next year he'll be able to compete for the starting QB position. Of course he'll have to graduate early and start college Spring 2018.

Correct my bad. Darnold likely goes pro after this season. So USC seems like the ideal place for a pro style QB since the position will be open for competition after Darnold leaves.

No just no.   Eason's a very good qb, but Darnold....c'mon man.   No one's starting over that kid.

The word was he got into a fight. Now people are saying Corral has 'character issues'.

Yeah read something about it on the Gator site.   Also something about Corral showing up to one of the big camps (think the 5 star challenge) possibly hungover and just out of it.   Which was unusual since he had previously been a camp monster.

Thank you for clearing that up @Ararar @Bodysurf

I could see him going back to USC if the jets get the #1 pick just like Peyton manning opted to go back to Tennesee rather than wear the green and white.

Will potentially be a loaded qb class w darnold, rosen, and Josh allen from Wyoming
