Defend defend till the bloody end.

What in God's name are you babbling about?  All I said was all the reports that he had already enrolled were greatly exaggerated.  How is that defending *anything*? The person most likely to know the truth said as of that time, we had not heard from them.  I dang sure am going to listen to the man with direct knowledge instead of some internet rumor.

I used to say your dislike for Grayson but I think it is stronger.  Your hatred of Grayson colors everything you say about us.  Yet it was okay for you for your coach to get a grade changed to make a kid eligible, cheat on his wife FOR MULTIPLE YEARS TO THE TUNE OF COUNT THEM, 3 KIDS! (proven facts mind you), take up for him for at least taking advantage of the people of Colquitt County and at worst flat out stealing from them (walking away without paying multiple times and knowingly writing bad checks is stealing you know).  Then taking up for your current coach who for some unfathomable reason thought it would be okay to rip his shirt off in a high school pep rally is astounding.  Tell me again which of the facts is not correct and which ones you condemned.  Here's a hint - all of the first and none of second.

Sad, really sad.

Well there is this new fangled thing called the telephone and also Al Gore's invention.  If they were heading our way, they didn't let us know.

As I said, tomorrow is a new day.  We will see what happens.

I don't agree with our current Coach doing a Hulk Hogan but I personally don't think it is that big of a deal. I support him.  Rush got problems what do you want me to do it about it.

The same thing you obviously want me to do with the GHSA.  Fix it.

I don't want you to fix it but seems like being a smart guy you would understand that they make mistakes all the time and you act like the GHSA is perfect. I have said many times Rush has made mistakes. But I know for a fact something's he was accused at Hoover were not true.  Some were.  Take the AHSAA I have said many times they favor privates school. I understand they make mistake unlike you with the GHSA.

You are being defensive because here comes another Grayson transfer. You could never admit something you favor is wrong. No talk of Georgia Tech getting hammered by Clemson.

I admit when we are wrong.  We aren't wrong here.

Really.  What needs to be said about Tech getting hammered by Clemson?  While Tech has a long and illustrious history in college football, we are so far down right now I'm not sure we should be on the same field with Clemson.  But I do know the value of a school is not determined by the success or lack of success by its athletic teams.

I agree the value of a school is not determined by its athletic dept alone. But 100,000 people do not show up for a math final. Plus I have never meet anybody who claims their college had a good football team and it harmed their college academic career.   Most schools when the football team is great admission goes up. So it helps with kids wanting to certain schools.  Friend of mine went to Georgia Tech finished 5 in his class of 1990. Went to work for NASA in Huntsville.  Funny thing he never took the ACT refused to take it. He took an entrance exam to Tech aced it and did great while there.  So if anybody ask about ACT scores and getting into Tech their is one had no ACT score and got in.

I read that one reason Dabo ran it up was revenge of the dirty football Tech played under Johnson with all the chop blocking and cut blocking.

If you don't believe that coaches think Tech was dirty under Johnson just Google it.

Or your source is attempting to keep the information classified until GHSA approves him...

My source told me exactly what the GHSA said the issue was and what if any impact it might have on a transfer situation.  I just choose not to share it on an internet message board.  That doesn't change the fact that Mr Garcia at the time many were saying he had already transferred, had not.  That may have changed since then.  To be honest, I don't know as I was far too busy to check on it yesterday or today.

Do you honestly think anyone interviewing a Tech grad cares the first thing about Tech football?  Really?  Do you honestly think that state of Tech football impacts anyone applying to Tech other than those wanting to play football?  There is no denying that football enriches the campus experience at Tech but as a deciding factor?  Methinks you don't know as much about Tech as you might think. Mine is not hearsay about entering Tech.  My brother, me, and my daughter all attended so I think I have a pretty decent idea what goes on there.  Tech does not, has not, and most likely never will be a school that appeals to the masses and that is a good thing.

Geeze man, give it a rest.  It's a *high* school football board and you are trying to bring a school I went to college at into a discussion in order to discredit me and what I say and that is a stretch of gargantuan portions.

One think I know for sure Tech is a great  school. But suck at football right now.  Congrats on your family going to Tech.

Amen on the great school!  Double amen on the suck at football right now.  I have learned not to ever get my hopes up when it comes to Tech football.  Thanks on the congrats.  Especially proud of my daughter and the things she accomplished there.
