Seriously.....what do these two guys need?

The football budgets at Texas and Michigan rank in the Top 5.

...players, facilities, money, fan bases, support and etc.

Time to do the math!

They play in conferences with other large, wealthy schools who are trying to win big.

Billy Napier coaches in a yokel conference with schools that barely have enough money to pay for the bus to the game.

HC Billy Napier (La-Lafayette) salary $880,000 a year

#20 La-Lafayette 31   #13 Iowa St 17

HC Tom Herman (Texas) salary $5.2 million a year

#13 Iowa St 23   Unranked Texas 20

Soon Billy Napier will step up to the big leagues and make $4 million while also losing regularly.

Looking forward to it.

They fired and/or ran out a coach that was winning .750% of his games and it turned into a losing Big Ten record for 7 years.

This is a common fallacy among bozo fanboys.

You're just as likely to fall back (I'd argue even more likely) than you are to ascend.

Programs don't fall into the abyss because they keep Lloyd Carr or Jim Harbaugh. They do so because they fire them.

The retirement announcement surprised no one.

Last winter, Carr had his contract reworked to pave the way for
this to be his last season and later made sure the school gave his
assistants unprecedented two-year deals.

Carr retired from coaching period. It was planned well in advance.

Lyin' Andy can't help lying.

SO everyone in the Big 10 is wealthy enough to beat up on Penn St this year except the wealthiest school.....MICHIGAN

Anyways, the La-Lafayette kids aren't interested in any of that BS.  They just play hard for their coach and try to get wins.

You've successfully employed the "one game sample size" argument that all clowns depend on.

Billy Napier will get his shit kicked at South Carolina.

Hope he takes the job.

Maybe, maybe not.....not really the point.

He's ranked this year and Michigan and Texas are sucking win with their high-priced saviors.....two of the richest programs in the entire nation.

...pandemic or NO pandemic that's pathetic!

Like when you claimed that I must've been there in order to exercise simple common sense and pull up memories from less than 15 years ago?

😄

Like when you made shit up.

it's not tough, Andy.

The guy renegotiated his contract a full year earlier to prepare for retirement from coaching. He didn't look around for another coaching gig.

🤣

Thank you..

Feel free to give a "one game sample size" out of Michigan and Texas this year.....

No because one game sample sizes are stupid.

Jim Harbaugh has been a head coach for 17 years. Tom Herman went 22-4 at Houston which is in a tougher conference than Louisiana-Lafeyette.

Billy Napier hasn't done anything remotely close to those two guys.

You think Michigan and Texas are poorly coached because they don't.

I think Michigan and Texas are poorly coached because they are.....it really doesn't get much more simpler than that.

You've done nothing but prove both can fail miserably at money schools....your excuses are humorous though.

....Napier was instrumental in two National Championships at Alabama in 2011 and 2015.

He's been around and has done well at La-Lafayette in his first Head Coaching gig..

Anyways, he's on the UP.....the other two, Jim and Tom,  need guys like you defending them.
