No because big tech isn’t a requirement to exercise free speech.

You're failing to grasp the crucial distinction between a government actor and a private citizen.

As recently as 2017, the SCOTUS ruled that it was unconstitutional for the government to forbid convicted child molesters from using social media.

It was an 8-0 ruling.

Yes that is as hypocritical as it gets. Twitter bans people based on beliefs they disagree with. So leaders in Uganda disagree with big techs beliefs and shut them down. And Twitter is mad about it.

Twitter being upset is a parody. No normal human could express that in a serious manner

Ummm bullshit, Twitter would flag Trumpy’s tweets with a statement and a “regular” tweeter posting the same content was shutdown.

Its been proven.

Internet Provider to Restrict Access to Facebook, Twitter to Customers Who Request It

Your T1 WiFi, an internet service provider based in northwestern Idaho, will implement firewalls that restrict access to Facebook and Twitter at its customers' requests."

...It has come to our Attention that Twitter and Facebook are engaged in Censorship of our Customers and Information," the company wrote. A customer posted screenshots of the email to Twitter on Sunday evening, and Fink verified its contents in his comments to Newsweek.

"We have the past couple days been fielding calls from customers voicing the concern that they do not want these sites allowed to be displayed on their internet feed…and that they do not want their children to go to these sites," the email continued. "They could do this themselves but some do not have the technical knowledge to do so and it would be very tiresome for us to do it for them and it would be expensive to visit each customer that wants this done."

Didn’t realize so many conservatives here had so much hostility towards private enterprises enacting their own rules in a free market place.

Double-surprised that so many conservatives now want the government to come to the rescue and destroy private companies for...being private companies.

I never could have predicted this day would come.🤣🙄

Sounds like you are on board with private companies discriminating against people they don’t like. Hate and discrimination is hate and discrimination no matter how you try to justify it.

Why does every private company have to do business with anyone no matter what with fear of being sued for discrimination if they don’t? Like the Colorado baker. That was his private company. Why should he be forced to do business with people he doesn’t want to? Free market right? Go create your own bakery if you want cakes.

it is so funny watching left wingers who claim to be for the little guy stick up for giant tech companies who are the most powerful businesses in the world. and you were sticking up for them in defense of gross discrimination. things no small business would ever get away with

And a lot of people think the 2020 election was rigged (it wasn't).

Facts over feelings, snowflake.

There are sworn testimony’s and affidavits of people witnessing election fraud.

I guess the Justice Department should just get rid of eyewitnesses all together. what’s the point?

You either have the video evidence of the guilty person caught in the act or you are useless to the case.

The law states that service can't be denied based on race, sexual orientation, etc.

So another whiff by the resident goofball.

The right of private companies to do business as they please supersedes any fight for the "little guy" which Trump actually is not.

It's as if you want to advertise to everybody how stupid you are.

Which is just as much evidence as somebody saying that they "feel" that the election wasn't fair.

If I sign a sworn affidavit saying that I saw you rob a bank you wouldn't even be arrested for that let alone convicted. They would still need, you know, actual evidence that you did it.

“The law” states that you can not enter this counter illegally. But your kind facilitate breaking that law every day. It is actually cheered and applauded when that law is broken. Even protected and defended when the law breakers are caught.

And now you are talking about “the law states”

LMAO! More hypocrisy
