There really needs to be some sort of shot clock in high school. Maybe not a 24 second one, but something.

Argyle - 49

Hargrave - 30

Thank God that it's over.

Welcome to Argyle Basketball.

And there are shot clocks in HS hoops....just not in Texas.

Georgia joins California, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Washington as the only states to use a 30- or 35-second shot clock

Jesus Christ the team that beat Brookwood ain't showing up...

Marietta is sinking bucket after bucket and Woodstock is getting brick after brick

Poor shot selection is also hurting them. Their star player, Bridget Utberg, has 21 points but 5 turnovers.

We are doing pretty good in baseball. Top 10 in the state in my opinion. Lost a game that we should've won to the Billy goats in the last inning. Playing the number 2 team In the country in a few weeks.

For some reason that nobody understands Hoover might have the worst baseball team in school history. We have many kids going to the next level but are off to a terrible start. Maybe we can win enough area games to back door into the playoffs.

In a rare event

Cross Creek (Augusta,GA) won 3A Boys and Girls state titles.

The Cross Creek Boys upset Sandy Creek

The Cross Creek Girls upset Greater Atlanta Christian...

The last school to do this I believe was Buford

@BUFORDGAWOLVEScorrect me if I'm wrong

But didn't the Buford boys and girls basketball team both win back to back in 2016 and 17? Or was that another year?

17-20 for the Girls, 18 and 20 for the Boys .....

Texas doesn't have shot clocks? Are yall insane?

We have teams that struggle to get the ball across half-court against a press...much less have difficulty scoring points.

No play-clock actually gives the "less athletic" teams a chance to compete by forcing fewer possessions.

I'm not fond of it as I have seen teams attempt to run the clock down an entire quarter by playing 4-corners only to make a mistake and turn it over.

But eh...I understand the reasoning.
