For some reason that nobody understands Hoover might have the worst baseball team in school history. We have many kids going to the next level but are off to a terrible start. We have teams that struggle to get the ball across half-court against a press...much less have difficulty scoring points. No play-clock actually gives the "less athletic" teams a chance to compete by forcing fewer possessions. I'm not fond of it as I have seen teams attempt to run the clock down an entire quarter by playing 4-corners only to make a mistake and turn it over. But eh...I understand the reasoning.
