No. This was a few hrs. ago...I have 6 toms who I've seen at one time in my yard...I've seen them fight on 3 occasions the last week....knock down drag em' out brawls...I'm going to try and get a shot of multiple toms...this picture I got the sun hitting him in the face....you can see a bit of the mulit-color pattern they have...tough, beautiful animals!

This new guy showed up this a.m.

been a little empty here....

but we've had some winds of change blow thru.

so we shall see 🤷‍♂️

BTW...The raptor is an Osprey...

hard to see, but you  can tell by the kinked wings,

and most are close to a 6 ft span.

naa...just enjoying his show...it never gets old..😉

Well Turkeys here are just some singles with no flocks yet,

but the bloom has just started so a lot of birds are coming in...

Lots more to come, but it's still already a show. 😁

so I took a few shots for you...enjoy.

doing pairs now ??? 😄

had a pair of local red tails this morning....

nice...I was walking around my block the other day and saw a Harrier Hawk land on a tree ahead of me. I stopped to check him out. He took off and flew over my head and he had a snake in his claws! About 2 feet long. This is the third time I've seen hawks with snakes in the past 2 years. I had no idea they would eat them...easy pickings I guess?

If I didn't have hawks here,

I'd have a bunch of 7-8 foot black rat snakes  (rat snakes reach lengths of 10 feet)

(google photo lol)

in the barn and pool house...

well... sometimes I still do. 🤷‍♂️

PS: Maybe sometime I'll explain how stupid I look....you know....

grabbing a 7 footer (not wanting to kill it, they keep the mice away remember 🤔) and having to bola swing it around my head (anti bite centrifugal force 🤓) as I run it to a natural marshy area behind the property....I gotta look pretty silly doing that 🤣

I pulled the cover off of my pile of fire wood last year and had 2 gardener snake's and a small Rat snake laying under there nice and cozy. I also had a big rat snake 4ft. longish come right up my walkway looking for some chimpmonks...it was real fast!
