There were two monster sized ones that I had to evict when I moved in, that had obviously been around for a while. But if they are around they are usually nice enough to leave signs like their skins. Fairly common to see them cruising, when you are cutting the grass and such. You are right tho about the easy pickings, hawks love them and will strike them immediately. I used my wife's cheap cell phone to take the picture that's why it's so shitty...and believe it or not me and the Ms, saw a Red Tail hawk with a snake today driving home around the corner from my house. Didn't really notice until I saw 66's pic. Lawns are nice, but if you are pumping with chemical fertilizer or paying somebody else to do all the work... well...
