Atticus Finch
He was asked for a signature win. RedZone gave one that wasn't a signature win. He admitted that it wasn't a signature win. RedZone
Anyways some 1998 West Monroe stuff.... https://247sports.com/college/lsu/Board/59425/Contents/A-look-back-at-West-Monroes-1998-team--45519966/ Bradie James, Rodney Reed, Andrew Whitworth, Jason Ledoux and Brian West all went on to play at LSU but the number 98 brings to mind the great 1998 West Monroe team that completed the three-peat of 5A state championships. Let’s go into the history books and take the rest of today’s countdown post to break that team down a little bit, now that we have the benefit of historical context. --The tale of the tape: 15-0 by a combined score of 677-96 (an average game score of 45.1-6.4) with three wins against out-of-state foes (Tyler, Texas; Warren Central, Mississippi; and Vicksburg, Mississippi) and two wins against rival Ruston (one in Week 7 and again in the state championship game). Check out that team’s absurd playoff scores: 52-0, 54-14, 49-6, 35-0 and 32-14. --Offensively, that team scored 40 or more points in 11 of its 15 games and scored 50 or more points an amazing four times. --Defensively, that team posted seven shutouts, two of those shutouts in the playoffs, and held teams to single-digit points in four other games. This defense was truly something special at home: in eight games in the friendly confines, the ’98 Rebels only gave up 20 points: seven points, then three straight shutouts, then seven points and another shutout before East St. John scored six in the quarterfinals, that team’s last home game. --Finally, let’s look at some of the college-bound players from that team: QB Maxie Causey, who led Louisiana Tech through its transition from independent to the WAC; the great LB Bradie James, an All-American at LSU and nine-year Dallas Cowboy; plus Rodney Reed, Andrew Whitworth, Jason Ledoux and Brian West were on LSU’s 2003 national championship team.

Beating a Texas power by 7 TDs is a signature win. Can someone name an OOS team that has done that to a big time Texas program?...

They're not a big time Texas program. I doubt many OOS teams have played a 7-5 version of faux "big time" programs either. What an accomplishment! Beat a crappy 7-5 team by a lot of points. I'm not going to spend a lot of time debating what I know is a fact. John Tyler was a Texas power from 1994-2000.........East Texas was like the SEC back then. JT won State in 1994, then lost in the 5A Semifinals in 1997 (the year before the West Monroe game) and they lost to Katy in 2000 State Champ game...35-20 .....anyways, 3 of JT's losses in 1998 were to West Monroe (47-0, state champ), Evangel Christian (31-16 state champ) and Lewisville (21-19) who won Texas 5A in 1996. RedZone
I'll leave with this nugget. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/schools/high_schools.cgi?hs_state=TX John Tyler is tied for 1st in Texas in producing NFL players with 24. Longview is 2nd with 23 and Lufkin #10 with 17. Those are East Texas schools. My work is done here.

RedZone
You could probably fit 100K or maybe 200K in a duffle bag. I've never personally seen a duffle bag full of $100 bills, BUT it looks like a tremendous amount of money in the movies. lol

BigDrop
https://www.cleveland.com/pdextra/2009/03/football_cincinnati_moeller_co.html The two best Ohio teams since Paul Brown at Massillon in the 1940’s are Gerry Faust’s Moeller in the mid ‘70’s through ‘82 (left for the head coaching position at Notre Dame after 1980) and St. Ignatius in the ‘90’s. Faust had five national championships and Chuck Kyle at Iggy had three. The Cleveland link above summarizes their runs. At one point Moeller won 105 out of 106 games.
