Old Rabid One
The 1AAAAAAA Champion Lowndes Vikes, traveled to the lil Orange Jungle Gym today, to do battle with the Parkview Panthers! And it weren't a purdy site! Region one sports are a joke, outside of football! Parkview outscored the Vikes 24-2 in fourteen innings! That's GOTTA leave a mark. In other baseibol news, the Pope Greyhounds, conquerors of the mighty Buford Wolfs, go down in a DH DEEfeet today to Lassiter, 3-2 and 3-0! Sweetlarry
Pope and Lassiter are neighbors as well as two great baseball programs. As far as lowends betting boatraced by parkview goes, getting to the semis is something to be proud of. No shame in getting beaten by a much better team. But that is gone with the wind, as a result of having whatever lil bullshit feeder program they have going on, South of the Macon-Dixie Line! In 1997, Colquitt beat Walton and Lassiter, back to back, behind SUPERMAN, Hayden Gliemmo! And the two best teams in the state were in Region ONE, Colquitt and Lowndes! One of the greatest high school games in history, was played that season between Lowndes, and pitcher Tim Drew, and Colquitt, with Hayden Gliemmo! There were a dozen pro scouts there to see the festivities! The game ended in ten innings, with Colquitt prevailing, 2-1! There were thirty four strikeouts, with Hayden getting twenty! Drew would go on to play in the pros, while Hayden was selected National Freshman Pitcher of the Year, at Auburn. But arm issues would shorten a potentially great career for Hayden Gliemmo! As an aside, Colquitt played Parkview in the 1996 semis, at the lil Orange Jungle Gym. And as our ace, Gliemmo warmed up, he pulled a rib cage muscle, and was done! Enter Matt Parker, who would have a minor league career, came into start game one, and mowed down Parkview, winning 5-2! Had Gliemmo been healthy, Parkview would have been SWEPT from their own field! As it was, we lost two one run games, 7-6 and 8-7! No WAY in HELL Hayden surrenders that many runs. And Parkview would blast Walton the following week in the finals! Ryan Spikes Of COURSE they do! It's a little known fact, that football is the THIRD most important sport at Parkview.

HELL, nobody in Region ONE has taken it on the chinny chin chin like THAT, even 2021 COLQUITT! Francoeur's 2002 team only beat Coffee 5-0 and 1-0! And not even a DOUBLE, much less a homer! Course Francoeur was HIGHLY overrated as a power hitter! Those 27 dingers in that sandbox they play in, was a FARCE his senior season!
