How about the Ausberry Brothers.

Better "Brother's tandem" nationally?

I don't know if they're better currently and almost certainly not historically, but the Karlaftis brothers are big around here (West Lafayette, IN) and have an interesting story.

George Karlaftis (2019): 4-star, 59 nationally, 4 at SDE, USA Today Defensive Player of the Year, All-American Bowl.

Yanni Karlaftis (2021): 4-star, 261 nationally, 31 LB.

They lived in Athens, Greece, until George was 13, when they moved to West Lafayette, IN. They didn't know much about football.

They led the West Lafayette Red Devils to a state championship in 2018. They both stayed home to play at Purdue.

St. James was legit in 2019 because they beat John Curtis, 16-14, in 2007.

But Escambia beats them, 28-20, in 2003?

"means nothing"

"so what????"

He fails to mention John Curtis crushed St James in the state title that year in the rematch.

St James wins by 2 vs Curtis and makes state! Cajun creams himself over St James.

Escambia beats Curtis by 8 and misses the playoffs.  “No big deal”

You do.

We know that because you change your entire outlook when it's a non-Louisiana team.

You are wrong yet again....anyways,

When John Curtis ran defending 6A Plant (TAMPA) out of NOLA with one of their worst losses ever at the time you Florida pukes cried like little bitches....then Plant lost in the Playoffs and the Florida pukes were once again happy. Plant was then considered "shit"....

Deerfield Beach beats Defending 5A Champ Zachary and it's a huge fucking deal and brought up a zillion times by the extremely funny looking guy with the mental defect.

Zachary not only lost in the playoffs they gave up 41 points and took another loss to State #20 East Ascension (another ATHED La team)

20 East Ascension (Gonzales, LA)   team preview   trend Louisiana 5A District 5 5A 9-3 4-1 (2nd) 5-2 33.9 23.9 87-57
WINS: #497 Zachary (LA) (40-31), #970 Easton [Warren] (New Orleans, LA) (42-41), #1639 St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) (14-6), #1719 Dutchtown (Geismar, LA) (29-24), #2370 Terrebonne (Houma, LA) (20-6), #3857 St. Amant (LA) (34-7), #6498 Northwest (Opelousas, LA) (41-8), #8343 Woodlawn (Baton Rouge, LA) (45-0), #9299 McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA) (40-14), LOSSES: #115 Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA) (41-6), #791 Haughton (LA) (41-23), #880 Ruston (LA) (21-13)

What even funnier is that when Zachary won state the year before the  Deerfield Beach game they took 2 losses-one of them ugly to the fucking team mentioned in this thread. U-High beat the shit out of Zachary. U-High finished #18 Nationally that year (Maxpreps)

5 Zachary (LA)   team preview   trend Louisiana 5A District 4 5A 13-2 6-0 (1st) 11-0 55.1 33.6 113-66
WINS: #59 West Monroe (LA) (27-24), #221 Destrehan (LA) (67-57), #566 Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) (26-14), #961 Hahnville (Boutte, LA) (41-20), #1458 Walker (LA) (38-9), #1650 Denham Springs (LA) (62-20), #2178 Sulphur (LA) (42-17), #2336 Live Oak (Watson, LA) (24-10), #2431 Central (Baton Rouge, LA) (49-17), #3199 Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA) (28-0), #3740 Northshore (Slidell, LA) (28-7), #4011 Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) (35-0), #9553 Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA) (45-0), LOSSES: #73 University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) (49-27), #147 Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA) (31-30)

What's it all mean? You can shove all your "Florida does things no one else does" up your ass. Clear?

It's all bullshit.......as is every single out of context post that dumbass from Tampa posts.

Seems as though "current" was what we're after, but plenty of contributions here on historic brothers makes me have to include Boulder HS and Univ of Colorado brothers, Dick and Bobby Anderson.

Dick, seen below, I believe was once described by a Rocky Mountain News writer as "an extremely cerebral player...almost like a head coach, or at least an assistant coach, or maybe a really good up-and-coming student manager, on the gridiron..." He went on to play for the great Dolphins teams as a member of the...yep...No Name Defense. He later had some top finishes in celebrity golf tournaments.

And younger brother Bobby, as I recall, was covered by the Denver Post as "a really polite young man, who had some great moments as a lead blocker." Being the younger of the two, Bobby was more attached to his mother, so he stayed close to home and waffled with the anemic Bronco teams of the early 70s. He then had minor parts in a couple average movies.

John Curtis scheduled the worst Plant team during their run like the pussies they are. Plant was exposed that year losing by 3 scores in the second round.

That was the best team Curtis played all year. And they weren’t good at all. Curtis ducked and dodged top comp to play a downtrodden Plant team who lost everyone.

Oh and Zachary lost 53-0 to a 4 loss Florida team and almost made the state title game in Louisiana. Lol.

Are we super clear on that?

Dylan Moses brother Keylan will be a freshman at U-High this year (2025 class).....holding LSU and Alabama offers already that he received as a 8th grader....RB/LB

Can't say for certain, but I believe he will be a 5* like his brother Dylan in a couple years. They are pumping him as better than Dylan. I don't make it up just report it.

Major recruiting war will develop between the Moses Family, LSU and Alabama again...nothing new there though.

Louisiana’s 3rd ranked team U Lab CRUSHES 5th ranked Zachary 49-27. Lol. That’s the crushing.

15th ranked Deerfield “wins” against 9th ranked Zachary 53-0.

same difference. NOT! Lol

Does The 'Close Door' Button Actually Work?

You have to describe them as defending champions because Plant wasn't good the year that John Curtis played them. Typically dishonest RedZone.

Zachary was a consensus top 10ish team in Louisiana in 2019. (#9 by calpreps, #11 by Massey).

They lost in the state semifinals of Louisiana's largest classification, 21-14.

They were running clocked, 53-0, by a team outside of Florida's top 15ish (#15 by calpreps, #21 by Massey).

Keep digging, RedZone.

I love it.

When accused of propping up wins for Louisiana teams and diminishing wins for non-Louisiana teams, RedZone manages to defend himself by doing exactly what we accused him of.

A 53-0, running clock, shellacking is brushed aside but a 40-31 shootout win by a mediocre Louisiana team is celebrated.

😄

Returning to this....

Plant, on the other hand, was not running clocked, 33-3, and lost in the second round of the playoffs.

They were also outside the top 15ish in the state (#21 by calpreps, #17 by Massey).

These facts bother RedZone.

There he goes again!

U-High "beat the shit" out of Zachary, 49-27, despite the fact that it was 35-27 in the 4th quarter.

U-High is celebrated for a much closer win. Heralded as a nationally ranked team even!

Deerfield Beach beats them 53-0?

"means nothing"
