And younger brother Bobby, as I recall, was covered by the Denver Post as "a really polite young man, who had some great moments as a lead blocker." Being the younger of the two, Bobby was more attached to his mother, so he stayed close to home and waffled with the anemic Bronco teams of the early 70s. Plant was exposed that year losing by 3 scores in the second round. That was the best team Curtis played all year. And they weren’t good at all. Curtis ducked and dodged top comp to play a downtrodden Plant team who lost everyone. Oh and Zachary lost 53-0 to a 4 loss Florida team and almost made the state title game in Louisiana.
