DLS and Katy were far better than JCC that season. #* Perhaps after a Ned Freeman scaled adjustment or two since 2012. I’ll add a link shortly for your review from that season here. Just need to find it. That was pre-Freeman scaled adjustments and also reflect rankings by the major polls the entire 2012 season. Choose Dec 6th to see. Naturally, they’ll drop after an upset loss, but they had the majority of 1’s prior to the STA game. http://calpreps.com/2012/polls_view.htm 2

IMO the home loss to DBP in 2011 was the start of the program's downward spiral. 😄 They won state that year and had their best team ever the next year, in 2012. What a goofball.

In boxing and mma a devastating KO can change an individual fighter for the worse. Too many examples to cite. Football is a team sport, with a constantly changing roster. So the idea that one loss can cripple a program is dopey. 1

I don’t know. Back in 1915, they went 9-0 and didn’t allow a single point. They might have a legit shot at best team in school history

This was in the works for many months. It's a one-year sabatical from what I was told. The plan is to be back at SFA for the 2022 season. So he knew they would suck this year and knows they will be loaded next year. I see u Biff.

They're still technically sanctioned by the MIAA and MIAA rules on the matter are essentially "don't be 20 or older when the school year starts." It's not unheard of among the Maryland privates, but they usually do it before high school. Having a kid go through 8th grade in the public school system and then enter your school as an 8th grader is the most common way to go about it. SFA and Avalon (an equally shady, but much less well-funded program in Montgomery County that produced Trevon Diggs and others) are the only ones I know that do it with kids who've already started high school. It puts the kids at risk of being ineligible with the NCAA as well, as you have 4 years from when you start high school to get all of your Clearinghouse requirements knocked out or you risk an automatic academic redshirt. @eaglesinsider explained it best. 37 minutes ago, AztecPadre said: Does the league accept 5th year seniors? I’m not sure how many 5th year seniors are on SFA’s roster. It is very late to transfer out for eligibility in 2021. We will see how that pans out soon.

More 5th year seniors on SFA’s roster than there are at MD, SJB, BG, DLS, and any other HIGH SCHOOL combined.

I’m not worried about anything that goes on at DLS. I do think it’s completely pathetic that st Frances reclassifies kids and allows them to stay in high school for 5 years. No matter how you try and pimp it, it’s soft. 1
