The best passing attacks I've seen at the H.S. level were Daniels and Young at Mater Dei. I suppose that factors in the quality of OL, WRs etc. But those guys were lights out with accuracy.

Did you get a chance to see DJ in person ?  I thought he was lights out better than Daniels

WHERE did you see Zeier in high school? I doubt that you went to see him in his brief stint at Marietta!

I saw him against North Cobb in either 1990 or 1991.   I think it was 1990.

Marietta won by a pretty big score.

He qualifies in the category of "Best passing QB" you've seen in high school?

Don't let his NFL failure as a qb. As a hs and college qb he was a great passer.

As a jr and sr in HS he threw for almost 8000 yards 77 tds and 10 ints won a state title.

DJ went for 2 for 6 against Mater Dei

I don't count those 2 in 2017 with all the qb controversy at SJB , when he was a sophomore .  He was 2 and 2 his jr and senior season, culminating in a win in socal final his last season over MD .  His senior season he became the best H.S. qb I ever saw in person . BY I saw in 2018, but he was only a jr

In a single game it was MD vs DLS game #2 at UOP of Stockton. Matt Gutierrez was a Sophomore, MD was stacking the box to stop DJ Williams. They made DLS pass to beat them, Gutierrez threw 6 TD passes and DLS won 42-0.

DJ didn’t seem quite as accurate IMO. More of a physical beast, and he may end up every bit as accurate in time.
