WILKINSON
How would Mater Dei fare against the #1 team from Georgia this year? Anybody want to take a shot at what the score would look like?

So, having said that, it's very difficult to compare Mater Dei with a team that we don't know. Match ups are important factors in final scores.

TheMaximumHornetSting
Nobody knows who number 1 is right now... I would say Buford but they decided to play with their food last night... Warner Robins won but they decided to get into a shootout with Archer... Collins Hill game got canceled Colquitt could've won but fumbled at a critical moment... North Gwinnett lost Jones County... Norcross got railroaded by Mill Creek.... Milton got they ass beat.... I'm sorry... Walton is doing what they usually do... Mceachern.... (LOL) went over to Grayson and Lost 21-7... It was 21-0 until the last 2 minutes of the game....
HawgGoneIt
If there is to be some Cali vs. Georgia matchups, at least go with brand name programs in Georgia. Don't go with the flavor of the day from the preseason polls or whatever. We already see these super talented, transfer laden teams that aren't brand name programs will lay some eggs. I do understand that those are the types of teams that answer the phone and work deals with people like PGL though. As a Georgia hsfb fan, I don't trust them to carry the state flag though. I just think they're in a rough spot right now.... McPherson left and everyone damn near went with him... Lowndes is the 6th largest school in the state they have too much talent to be letting Griffin threaten em...

Super talented, not as well coached top to bottom, without staying power as a top program. Heart and swagger are important. You don't get that from the flavor of the day type teams. Depth, and star power doesn’t compare with STA, SFA, MD, SJB,or IMG. Not even in Graysons best years have they had college prospects stacked two deep between the tackles. But as you see already everyone here is dead set on beating them down for whatever reason.... Both Marist and Westminster have the money and both are in Prime Talent locations.... HawgGoneIt
I'd trust a program like Buford, Lee when they're on their top side of the cylinder, Colquitt when they're on their top side of the cylinder. The thing is. You have to be in tune enough with where these public schools are in their talent cycle to know which one to put forward any given year. For instance, this ain't the year that I'd want Colquitt to carry the flag even though I know they have the heart and swagger. Maybe next year or the year after, most likely the year after. Buford is generally solid every year, but, like everyone else, they have cycles too. Look for brand name programs that are returning a lot of seniors that started as juniors and sophomores. We probably still can't beat an MD, but, I feel like it could be respectable showings.

STA has been around for a Hot ass minute on the national scene since the late 80s I know MD has been off and on.... through the 80s and 90s But the rest? Their definition of a bad year is 13-1 losing in the Semi-finals....
