We've all put on a few lbs since their last trip to Santa Ana back in the 90's While we are grateful for the ranking, we know that some will contend that we will never truly be #1 until we beat Grayson. I would enjoy hosting another out of state game next year. I do not have the relationship today with Elijah's troop that I did with the previous one but i know several people who are good spokesmen. I am guessing that DeMatha-who should be the solidedly studded in '18/19 would hitchhike to CA for the opportunity to play you. Well, maybe a cheap plane...amd reasonable hotel. For ESPN it is THE natural game of the entire year. Mater Dei and DeMatha ARE the strongest private school athletic programs in football and basketball dating back 50 years in the United States. East vs. West., 25-=30 players going to major 1A programs; top qb in the country, top tb in the country-there were will a ready made television audience. Our backers are coming along very well, and we are getting good leadership from our seniors. At the risk of giving too much scouting material to our early opponents, I'd thought I would Just wanted to pass along because the kids are working hard and deserve their accolades.
