The silver lining is that colquitt scored the most points on them that year. Somewhat of a statement against the national champs that year. HawgGoneIt
Rodemaker as DC. Slack as Assistant head coach. Two ex head coaches and long time defensive coordinators and we gave up 83 points in two region games. Played all the powder puff girls 👧 leading up to Region and weren't ready defensively for region play. 🙄 Actually the defensive line, which is Slacks actual position group played pretty well. He still gets some blame as a defensive mind and assistant head coach. Polite's group aren't head hunters. They can't tackle and they aren't really that great in coverage. He has to shoulder some blame too. Get your guys ready. Somehow we managed to be down to a solitary kicker that can't kick beyond the 30 on kick offs which puts the defense on the spot. That isn't the kickers fault though. Apparently he's the only kicker that wants to stick it out and play for these coaches for whatever reason. Yeah, I'm still on a hot one. Two ex head coaches, a long time Corners coach, and that's the product they put out there after 8 games and two scrimmages. They ought to be ashamed. I know I am and I had nothing to do with teaching these kids the sport.
