Upon careful and thoughtful review...there are no answers.  Just a whole bunch of questions.

Lime Sink will be calling a special board meeting before Thanksgiving.

The board meeting will take place whether Colquitt is still playing or not.

Alonzo "Doc" Arteu will be the guest speaker.

I'll be heading off in there today. I'm sure the mood won't be giddy and happy like it had been riding on those wins over all those roody poos.

My personal opinion this morning before going in there is... Baby, bathwater, wash cloth, towel, person that washes the towel, person that folds the towel all need to be thrown out. We've got some smug people that have been in there too long and gotten too comfy and we've got some "newbies" that can't figure out how to get the kids to buy in.

It starts at the top with that sales pitch to the kids and then it filters through to all the coaches who aren't helping to sell it or reinvent it or whatever it is to get their position groups to buy in to the deal. On top of we just aren't looking prepared to tackle or really play American football on defense.

Next year we have only kids that came through under this coach. I have to say I haven't been super impressed with what has been going on down in the under classes. They don't magically become champions because they got a letterman jacket.

Now, my opinion is fluid. I like the coaches. I may have different or better feel after this evening in there.

Seems like the sales pitch isn't working for Justin. It also seems like we're short as many as 30 kids from our normal roster, and that's after bringing up the 9th graders entering into region play.

His task has to be to get a grip on this trend. Whatever it is he has to do it.  Changing the sales pitch (it may be and probably is too late for this one). Firing people. Firing self.  Whatever.

We just haven't been improving with each season. We've been on a steady decline and with the participation numbers trend, we could be standing on the edge of the cliff.

Sound the alarms!

Hawg...I had to talk a good friend of mine from the cliff's edge late last night.  To put it all in perspective...I have concerns at this point...but we still have a LOT of football left to play.  No matter what the final outcome for this season...we gotta let it play out.   Lowndes was a huge disappointment.  I don't know what to think about Tift...but we will have a playoff game.  At least one.  Now...it could be we continue with our latest trend.  It could be we make a FEW changes and flip the script.  Unfortunately...we just don't know.

I still have confidence in our abilities to tighten up the leakage...but I will also say you are right about one thing....it's awful late in the process to be teaching our guys how to tackle.  I imagine today will be TOUGH at practice.  If it's not...then it's pretty much over....

Waaaa say it ain't so. Could've sworn I said all off this.

You will find out fraudemaker is a pos human.

I was wondering why moultrie had a huge police presence. They have to keep players and coaches from going at it.

Seen for myself yall have discipline problems.

Lowndes fans trying to congratulate pace on a good game and some bench riders came down and started cussing at adults in the stands. Some of those players should be booted off the team. If they are to the point they won't listen to anyone and want to fight they got to go.

Well my opinion of you is pretty fucking low. Idc what you said or what you think. You're the same dumb ass that brought that Baby D bullshit over here when he got kicked off the team for being a jack ass. Now you're on here telling me the coaches need to kick kids off the team for being Jack asses. Gtfo my face with your mealy mouth bullshit.

I actually have a fairly high opinion of Rodemaker, and Rogers. I'm no dumb ass though. I've been talking to kids, their parents and coaches for ever since Rush was here.

I don't need no pukey Lowndes punk telling me about shit. 😁

Realistically... We have maybe two or three games left to play. To me, that's not a lot considering 9 games are in the books.

I know the world hasn't ended because we lost to Lowndes. It's how we lost. It's the optic of sitting up at the top of the stands and getting a birds eye view of the numbers of kids participating.(I usually sit low intentionally)  It's running the ball back to back to back to back down by 2 scores with under 7 minutes in the game. It's the feeling that the game was conceded with 7 minutes left.

It's the optic of the coaches looking like they're at a loss on what to do. Reminded me of that Parkview game Justin's first year.

Well...I would point out...I do believe we were winning that Parkview game at the half...LOL.

I had a very smart football guy tell me...and it's somebody I respect a lot....

"Rufus, this is NOT the Cokely brand of football.  But.... if you're not careful and you don't stay on top of things......".

I say we just frigging win out.

Yeah, he's right. This isn't Cokley football. We have offense.

We had a great defense last year so, I don't believe it's all scheme and game plan. It's fundamentals stuff. It's football IQ stuff. It's stuff you teach them long before they get their letter. They aren't prepared.

Very concerned about participation though. Very concerned about fundamentals of the damned tackling. These kids outside of the dline do not know how to tackle. Literally.

Rufus, we had 4 or five players just stand and watch Jacurri run by with another chasing him from behind. It was like witchcraft or something. A spell where they were statues. Hahahaha. I laugh, but. I'll never forget that. Ever.

The Cokley comparisons are coming in due to participation decline. If you dont have kids wanting to play, you won't have a pool to develop and choose starters from. Cokley understood nothing about developing the under classes. I'm getting a feeling we are approaching that zone now.

The sales pitch... Kids ain't buying it. I wasn't buying it day one myself but bit my tongue and gave it three years to root in. It ain't working. Your numbers are declining.

I hate to make comparisons, but, here it goes anyway...

Last guy showed up behind Cokley. Terrible situation. Kids not wanting to play and barely knowing how to. He came in, wrote a date on the big greaseboard at the field house and asked the kids if they knew what that date was. They didn't and he told them it was the date of the 6A state championship game. He told them from that moment forward they lived for that date. They were going to be trained and taught like champions. They were going to practice like champions. They were going to act like champions, breathe like champions, dream of being champions and they were going to become champions. That worked. By God it worked.

Justin shows up behind Rush to a community divided. Terrible situation: We love each other. We play for the man beside us. We're going to lift each other up. We aren't going to blame each other. Believe me, once you love each other we will win. It will all come true once we really do.

Rufus, I ain't gotta tell you, we have kids that  drive cars more expensive than some of the other kids on the teams house. We also have kids that live day by day and never know whether their power will be off tomorrow or what they'll have to eat at home.

That love each other spiel is good. It sounds good. It seems like it will make better human beings. However these kids backgrounds are too different. You can't tell a kid that sleeps on the floor that the kid driving a 2022 F150 platinum is there for his best interest and gonna play for him. You just can't. These kids live the division. You ain't bullshitting them.

I don’t get what the alarm 🚨 is .. why y’all panicking, ur 7-2, y’all acting like Bosco alum,,, they get used to winning so much and at a different level that when y’all lose a game or 2  y’all act like it’s Pompeii and world  is ending

or it’s deeper than that and there’s some serious turmoil going on

Yeah, and you're the mealy mouth fucker that every other time would be beating Rogers over the head with who he scheduled. Easy to win vs. number 11k in the country.

Now today....

Yeah.
