Colquitt's 2021 team reminds me a lot of the Colquitt 2010 team.

We could score points but we couldn't stop Grandma.

South Panola put up 65 points on us.

Of course...we did hit our stride in the post-season in 2010...eventually losing to Brookwood for the Championship in the Dome.

You guessed it....38-52.

Ended up 9-6....

Who knows....?????

Hopefully we can enter into a run like that. 9 plus 6 equals 15 games. I'd be ecstatic if we play 13 games. After last Friday, I'd almost be ecstatic if we play 12.

Because I do love the coaches and kids, I want them to do better than 12 games, for the sake of the coaches. Times will be getting pretty hard around town if they don't.

Even if they lose to some stacked ATL transfer team?

I think improvement from the last two seasons is like a savior.

It's possible depending on our seeding, we could have a nice playoff run. It seems like Lowndes as a number 1 seed ends up in a tough bracket, where, our bracket could be easier, albeit with more travel which is tough on everyone. Most of the games will be in or around Atlanta for us depending on the Tift game Friday night.

Saw in the GHSF Daily that Maxwell projects us vs. Brookwood in the quarters, winner to the semifinal. At the moment I think it projects Brookwood to win though.

I thought it was a state law South Georgia teams must travel to Atlanta at least 3 or 4 times before the finals.
