The sad part is nj isn't even a Top 10 football state........not even close.

North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Utah, Hawaii and Mississippi are much much better high school football states.

Outside of 2 or 3 overrated Catholic schools playing games every Saturday there's absolutely NO reason for anyone to even care about nj.

If anyone wants to debate that with me....take your best shot and make it a good one!

NJ's best are far better than NC's.  Not even close.  I'm from the former, and have lived in the latter 12 years, and go to NC HS games every Fri night, so don't even try me.

Bergen would cook Chambers or Hough by 4-5 TDs.  DBP, SPP, Delbarton and SJR all played BC tough and lost by 3 TDs or less.  Don't let their records fool you, as they beat the crap out of each other every week.  NC publics don't have the sophistication, discipline and coaching that you find in the Super Red and Super White privates.  Period.  And the couple NC privates that are actually decent (Catholic and Gibbons) are just that: decent.  I can't speak with any kind of authority about any of the other states you mentioned, but I watch NC's best week in and week out (Chambers is our local public school, and my son has a number of 7on7 teammates who play for Hough) and there's a noticeable gap in coaching and discipline.  If Catholic ever decided they wanted to develop a powerhouse program, the sky's the limit.  They get the best out of average dudes, but that best would get smoked by the aforementioned NJ teams.

Spot on.

PS I was at the Clemson game last weekend. Your local prep star, Will Shipley, had the game of his career to date for the Tigers!!

He did, indeed.  NC, like GA, turns out some solid talent, of course.  They just don't have the teams that private leagues like Super Red/White, WCAL, and Trinity produce.

Louisiana is 2-1 vs the Super Red/White and WCAL...if Louisiana can do that so can North Carolina and lots of states.

The one loss was by 7 points to state champ donald bosco in nj 10-3....ugliest game I saw Rummel play all year truthfully and donald bosco didn't look much better.

Get out of here with this madness.
