I have never liked Meyer or the teamsΒ he coaches. Β However, I have never seen the media try so hard to run someone out of the NFL. Β It’s like they are scared he is going to win.

He sure won today. ;)
His team beat the media darlings of the AFC.

They should have beaten Cincinnati nearly 6 weeks ago and easily could have 3 wins now.

Still, not bad for a team that only won 1 last season and had lost 20 consecutive.

Jimmy Johnson’s Cowboys won just 1 game his 1st season and didn’t beat a team as good as BUF.

If the Jags defense can play anywhere close to levelΒ they played at today (for the remainderΒ of the season)Β there areΒ potentiallyΒ 3-4 additionalΒ W’s on their schedule.

If that happens, Urb just might be ok.

I really hope the story about him sitting his assistant coaches down and making them share their resumes and compare them to his is true. TheyΒ deserved some of that.Β Β

The guy who replaces him as interim head coach has won a Super Bowl.

But I hope Urban tried to claim that he had achieved more than that.

Hopefully, he fucked with the entitled players and assistant coaches as much as he could before the end. I really hope the story about him sitting his assistant coaches down and making them share their resumes and compare them to his is true. TheyΒ deserved some of that.Β Β

Really silly post.

Do you hope he sat his entitled wife down as well and fucked with her too, letting her know how much more successful he is than she, and that he was just fine fingering around that Cayman Nebraska chick?

A coach needs to be respected. Sounds like he had little, if any, within the entire organization, including players and coaches. Is everyone else wrong?

Everyone is wrong. Urban is the best thing since sliced bread and the Jags organization should be ashamed of themselves for letting God's gift to them and football in general slip away.Β

Really silly to conflate relations with his wife with that of staff members actively working to subvert everything he tried to do.

Offensive Coordinator for one of the best teams this decade.

Apparently he needs an undressing by a college coach to put him in his place.

That team was built on defense. He’s also the same coordinator who called a pass play on the goal line in a game where the RB was dominating, which may explain why he ended up fired from that position.Β

There are no coaches in pro sports. There are just CEOs and figureheads. The players do as they please. True coaching only occurs at the other levels of football.Β
