@HawgGoneIt I know you believe nothing is on the coach when it comes to players but things like this is why I say that coaches could be at fault for players not getting offers.

literally the smallest kid every time he steps on the field and definitely not better than pace but picked up his first offer.

At the very least the packass coaches are doing very poorly at promoting players.

Kid has 16 receptions for 204yrds and 1 TD runs a 4.73 40.

That's what you call a coach promoting a player.

....I were Richmond Hill.

Region 1-AAAAAAA

Colquitt

Lowndes

Valdosta

Camden

Richmond Hill

From Colquitt to RH.....195 miles (one way)

From Valdosta and Lowndes to RH.....165 miles (one way)

From Kingsland to RH.....87 miles (one way)

And that's for every sport.

It's only about 30 miles further than Camden to Colquitt.

Been a minute since we had a five team region. Somebody gets to stay home next year for the playoffs.

Imagine Richmond Hill traveling all those long ass distances just to not make the playoffs.

Reminds me of the time on Fear Factor they had to eat kangaroo nuts, and the winner ate 6 and the loser ate 5 and had to go home. He ate 5 kangaroo balls just to be told he is eliminated and gets nothing 😂

I don't completely disagree. I can't say what I cant see though, so I don't speak about it too much. Not sure that the coaches see it as their job or what, or, maybe they do go out of their way to call recruiters and other coaches. Idk.

That McGee kid is a good player though. He deserved an offer imo. He hurt our ass bad.

They've been playing loose with the boundary rules for several years now and been getting away with petitioning to stay down for isolation. Camden has proven that's not as difficult as they want it to seem.

It's a little bit bullshit, but, we have to deal with the fact our areas don't have the same population.

I've made the trip a few times myself. Got a ticket in Jesup last time. Cop was like... Be mindful of the speed limit changes in these small towns. xD

If they don't leave the day before and stay at a hotel closer by, that's on them.

The best coaches do push their players. By that I mean, I saw coach Hughes at Lovejoy call SEC and ACC  schools and say, " Hey, I have this kid I think you might like", and they, the scouts, would come.

When he got fired, the recruiting changed. As soon as Hughes players were gone, so were they. Recruiters come but not from the same schools. Not even the same level.

Hughes having the contacts he did, opened doors that many coaches don't have. Hughes thought it was part of his job and he did it well.

Jesup and Blackshear are Awful when it comes to speeding tickets...

Loving what 6A looks like.

Love Lovejoys new region.

We welcome a much improved Alcovy program from what they used to be earlier in their relatively young life.

Jonesboro, our up the street neighbor has made themselves a team to be considered no pushover.

They are, after all, county brotheren.

Forest Park, Morrow and our real neighbors, Mundy's Mill, all county brothers. The fire marshal comes to make sure it's safe, capacity wise, when the Big Cat Classic takes place. Lovejoy and Mundy's Mill are 5 miles apart. Mundy's Mill began in trailers in Lovejoys parking lot.I hope they schedule it to start the season.

Woodward Academy adds respectability to the region. I find it refreshing to have the schools in the area play one another again. Rockdale returns to the schedule with Alcovy from the early 2010 or so.

Been a long time
