HawgGoneIt
The word for the day is tumultuous. Can someone use the word tumultuous in a sentence for the class please? It's gonna be a tumultuous offseason in Colquitt County.
HawgGoneIt
This sums up the Packer football season perfectly. half empty hawg pound and west stands for a playoff game and exasperated fans on the fence It's a shame I didn't get all of Paige Dauer in the shot. The seats been hot in the community all season though. Generally, the administration don't give fuck about what the community thinks as you saw with the ouster of Rush to great outcry. In my opinion, 2 more years and the program is gone though. The season coming after those two will likely be a losing season. First one in over a decade. The money has to dry up before anything much happens probably. Looks like we're seeing a start at that declining. The switch has flipped. Used to be we didn't much care if we made it to the playoffs with a 6 and 4 record. We turned up once the playoffs hit because we had played teams like South Panola or Hoover. We would always make a hard run in the playoffs. Today we don't know how to turn up and if we hadn't been region Champs the last two seasons we would have possibly been first round exits like we are today. We aren't battle tested. We're roody poo tested. 💩 1

BUT...actually having Paige in your pic might have made me feel somewhat better. That way if somebody asked me what was the best thing about last night's Packer game...I could say...Paige's Booty. Ga96
Only problem I would have with Grage if I were the packass is his lack of championships. Most of the top schools in Georgia basically have a championship as a default prerequisite. That or coaching at the college level.

I'm pretty sure the answer is.....yes. Reminds me of the Mike Singletary days in Moultrie and the Rance Gillespie days in Valdosta. The problem as I see it...Justin Rogers is 26-8 in his first (3) years. That record includes... 2019 lost to Parkview in 3rd round (while leading at the half) 2020 lost to Norcross in 2nd round 2021 lost to Walton in the 1st round ( AT HOME) That is NOT improvement from year to year. Quite the opposite. But the Colquitt Admin is happy. I do believe HawgGoneIt hit the nail on the head when he posted...once the money officially dries up...it's pretty much over. Rufus>> Money dries up? Like donations from businesses???? If that’s the case what other team would those donors support, y’all in the sticks in south JawJa, not many options on who to support, which isn’t the case for schools by us , within a 8 mile square, you have Paramus catholic, Don Bosco SJR and Bergen catholic, u got plenty to choose , if ur money disappears , it’ll come back when y’all hire the right staff and start winning again

Like I told a previous Superintendent...that's when you know your program is in BIG trouble. If you can see aluminum between the 40s...turn out the lights the party is over. I'm gonna be honest....once the money dissipates...it is extremely hard to get the flow back. And once you lose the Packer crowd...you can have more fun at a funeral. When the west stands are mostly empty and quiet. There's a core group of supporters/fans that will still buy season seats forever, and a lot of them will continue donating to the TD club as well, but, they won't put their asses in the seats they bought. The general admission sections last night were half what they usually are and many turned their back on what they saw on the field early. Fans were checking out at halftime because the writing was on the wall. It was a playoff game in region 1 and the stands were half, maybe just over half. I was able to move my season seats around and get what I wanted pretty much this season. 4 seasons ago getting 3 or 4 seats together in the reserve section was impossible. Next year I'm eyeing some seats closer to the fifty. Might get them too.
HawgGoneIt
Sean Calhoun for head coach maybe. Not sure how he likes Vestavia Hills, but, I almost guarantee, Rush would try to turn him off of us if he could. Idk who would want to come and try turning around this declining program. Probably nobody. Maybe we should have petitioned down to 6A with Tift. Oh woe is us!
