Ga96 Posted November 19, 2021 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2021 Im not a fan of our band and all the extra shit they do to play subpar music but its crazy to make up rules to go against 1 band in particular. We've had a lot of dealings with refs vs the band and crowd. Im sure its coming from visiting coaches but its weak to blame your results on how loud a crowd and band is. In Alabama for example when Hoover is at Vestavia their band will play non stop while we are on offense just part of game over here. There’s a line for it. For instance, There’s a difference between playing stand tunes while the other team’s offense is on the field and just obviously trying to blast loud noises. Final score- Walton 41 to Colquitt 17 I think we're going to need a bigger band with more props. All bullshit aside, some of these bands are bringing a lot of props anymore. Large plywood cutouts on carts and shit that they drag out and move on carts. They start gathering with that bullshit at the gates to enter the field of play with some minutes left in the half and it creates a jam of people and stupid plywood cutouts of musical notes or other goofy shapes that the people don't even know what they are. As the playoffs advance into the deeper rounds and the stadiums have more fans, nobody needs a lot of stupid props blocking access to concessions or even emergency exit from the stadium with time left in the first half. You know larry godwin has his nose in all the ghsa rules. Things like warning the band before the game and threatening to make them leave the game aren't ghsa rules yet we've had both happen this year.
