One team..... and guess what,  the teams I used still had a team in the finals in that given year

You’re whole argument is trash.  The facts remain there were many teams in the finals that won not on your list. And a few beat our traditional heavyweights to get there

I'll bet 1k today

Allen

Northshore

Katy

Carroll

Westlake

Duncanville

One of these teams makes the final this upcoming season

Give me one, not a list. I gave you exactly who was going to make the finals for Cali

That’s the difference, you all are very predictable.

You mean the same teams get there.

Your argument that there's diversity is trash. You have two divisions and you play it off like if it's similar to any other set up.  Every state the way Texas is set up would have diversity in their finals.

Hard to predict when those teams aren't set in stone in a division

I predicted 3 of your 4  finalists this past year after the brackets were out

They dont have to be set in stone in what division. If they are that dominant they’ll win in either one.

You picked well after the playoffs had started, I did that exercise with you

It matters,  because you said pick one.  Hard to pick just one when there's two divisions

Northshore/ Katy/Westlake winner.  Will be in the finals.  Who will play? Who knows.

You mean one or two games a year. Usually by the same team

Centennial lost to Norco just last season. The year before that,  cathedral beat them

I'll ask you,  who would play SJB and Mater Dei in that time frame close or beat them? Servite played them close as well(Beat SJB this past season)

Not a single team from California.

There are multiple teams who have played your “Texas list” close or beaten them.

I can give the examples if you want them.

I already gave the breakout of teams and finalists for just division 2 since ‘17 and it still had more parity than Cali.  Here’s a recap:

midway, cy fair, Longview, Westbrook, guyer, Westlake, Katy, cedar hill.

8 diff finalists and 4 diff champions the last 5 years. This is a fact! Lol

It’s not hard.  If we had a team as dominant as MD it wouldn’t matter what division they were in you’d easily pick them. So since we are a one horse state, then it would be easy to pick a team!

Huh?

You said you hardly ever see close games and mentioned DLS and Centennial.  Norco and Cathedral

Centennial 2 of the last 3 years has lost to teams not named SJB and Mater Dei

Exactly,  if you had a team as good,  but you don't and that's why they're not losing to teams like Katy

It’s comes back to parity. MD and SJB are a product of your CIF policies and rules not the uil. We are comparing your parity instate to teams in ours. We have more… accept it and get over it

And tell us why this happens? Could it be because Katy, Northshore, Duncanville,  Carroll, Westlake etc are all in division 1 for those years?

Of course that's the reason. You acting like it's because they're actually beating these teams is Comical

Katy is on the list, they were D2 in ‘20

Duncanville and NS weren’t special in ‘17.

Carroll wasn’t all that special to call them out as some championship gatekeeper.

Westlake beat lake travis in ‘17, same lake travis that beat Katy in the semifinals.

Westlake was D2 in ‘19

Every D2 champion from ‘17-‘22 was at least top 5, most years top 2

Give  it up steeler. I’ve got better things to do today.

I see you avoided the West Brook  topic.  It's no coincidence why these 2nd tier teams are making the finals.
