It would be similar enrollment. You see, those schools without looking are closer than Carroll and Carroll Sr high school. Texasfrog
NY Times: Article about all the recruiting at Mater Dei and SJB. **Tells how the Recruiting arms race between Mater Dei and SJB started.** "Little more than a decade ago, SJB was at a crossroads. Enrollment numbers which had peaked in 2001 had plummeted by 1/3 to fewer than 700 students" (All boys school). "We were on the ropes, " said Paul Escala who was hired as SJB President in 2010. SJB decided that football could be it's salvation. Be more strategic in delivering financial aid (Aka. Athletic Scholarships). "That was music to my ears," said Coach Negro who was hired a few months before Escala. Now.. when SJB built up a little All-Star team and started bitch-slapping Mater Dei and Coach Rollinson. Coach Rollinson said... "Can't beat them..JOIN THEM."

How does little public school Westlake have more OOS kids than Mater Dei? Who recruits? Ha ha ha ha ha Nobody said there wasn’t another place in the country that could develop a program like MD. You’re flailing and lying. Your ego is hurt. You and the Texas boys are slurping each other trying to feed your egos. Here’s another question, shouldn’t TX best be able to compete with anyone across the country? Why are DV and NS so much better now than they were before Kay and samples?? Let me know 😉 ha ha ha ha

That's irrelevant. Powers or not isn't being discussed. What's being discussed is that split campuses happen nowhere else. Either you have enough room on one campus to hold all the students, or the district creates a 2nd hs.

Ararar
What happened to this assessment 😂 Texasball Posted August 9, 2019 Bottom line - we have all seen enough football to realize the best team or teams from Texas can play with anyone. When the best from Texas is not the best in the nation the line to the top is very short! Texas quality depth is what truly sets it apart from everyone one else.

golfaddict1
2013 Edna Karr mention by local sportswriter. He gets it… “national”. For the “mythical” and state matters only crowd… there’s such a thing called state forum message boards or my suggested sticky threads of “State X is great”. There’s a reason people view the board and post here… and a shoutout to Steeler and Atticus. National slant and BS homerism extinguishers. Also the drinking thread rocks.
