… still wondering who that Dwyer OL was who initiated the texts with his father to Wilson.  I’m not a Dwyer specialist since JD retired, so if anyone sees a D1 OL from Dwyer during this time period, let me know.

The school got punished and that’s fine.  I’m all for full auditing of every transfer and Harriott I’m sure drew attention to his young staffers as a reminder, contact admin.

Now to Dwyer…

The kid never enrolled at STA and the coach that committed the violation was basically asked to leave the school after the season.

Yup.  I can recall Colby Dempsey transferring to STA from Dwyer, but he’s not an OL nor would his father get pissed off about being told to contact admin after such a “personal” texting relationship.

Which is ironic given that contacting the front office is the right procedure.

So the coach and his head coach (Harriott) were sanctioned for improperly texting a kid about the rules.

Ya..ya..ya..  Go from averaging about 2 (FBS signees) for 15 years to basically..  Wow, we average about 9-10 each season.

Wonder how that Mater Dei talent level on the team suddenly increased Five-Fold over night?

Oh ya.. it's called  RECRUITING,  RECRUITING, RECRUITING...  Host-FAmilies,  Athletic scholarship to attend the Private school,  Athletic vans to shuttle players all over So.CAL.    ya.ya.ya.

Is that 10th - 12th grade only?

NO.. it's 9th-12th grade.

So that means Allen HS is out shuttling athletes into the school each day from all over Dallas?

Does that mean Allen HS is out providing "Host families" to 5-Star/4-Star recruits from all over the Dallas area?

Does that mean Allen HS is out providing "money" to athletes to attend Allen HS?

If Allen HS is recruiting brother..  They need to get another recruiting director because he is missing a lot of 5-Star, 4-Star and 3-Star players that live within 25 miles of Allen but attend other Public High schools.

I'm sure I could go look up St. Johns Bosco going back to 1999 and D1 football signees.

1999 to 2014 they probably averaged...  .085 D1 recruits annually.

2014- 2022 -  9 annually would be my guess.

Same as Mater Dei.   Wonder how that shit happened????   hmmmmmmm🤔

Hurricane and the others just say......🤐

With all the transfers Allen gets, I’d say their recruiting director is doing just fine.

My favorite of the non-denial, denials.

74 over a 5 year period to be exact.

Allen is where the best in the state aspire to play. But the football transfers are coming at a cost.

The Dallas Morning News found that 74 football players -- including 30 from out of state -- transferred to Allen during the last five years, according to documents obtained from the school through open records requests. Last year's 16-0 Allen state championship team was led by four transfers who were top-100 recruits in the state.

Allen *averaged* 6 out-of-state transfers per year.

Given your proclivity for insinuation what would you say caused this?

Yea this.  I'm not saying Allen doesn't  recruit (not sure on that) but in my opinion your spot on about how much talent is still left that isn't on the one or two top HS teams in  DFW.  This is the case in DFW, Houston, NOLA many parts of GA and most of all South FL/Miami from what I've seen with my own eyes (because I lived there).

LA and Orange County have 30% more people than the entire state of GA yet GA has significantly more talent if just compared to those two counties.  Doesn't mean those top couple SoCal teams arent the best in OOS head to head - I'd say they are but no doubt perspective is needed.  They do have the best QB's along with TX and that goes a long way to who wins a HS game - I can tell you from living in Miami and watching many of those games that the QB play and overall gameplay is terrible so even  though 6-7 teams may have 6-7 D1 guys it doesnt mean much in an OOS HS game where the other teams have been more "hand-selected" - especially these catholic schools who directly target feeder programs then give free tuition and many times board under the umbrella of "helping out LMI area" - only hypocrisy there is that all of the LMI families they "help" happen to be the best football players in the area.

How the hell is it that these TX and GA jackasses get so worked up over MD being better than their teams?  Doesn't impact their league record, playoffs, etc.  Bunch of immature, petty fools.

if public schools in Southern Cali were better, this thread wouldn't be a thing...

John Curtis where i'm from is basically being squeezed by good public schools on the periphery of their range, and even in Orleans and Jefferson, there are a lot more good options that John Curtis isn't getting whom they used to. Tierney just made Shaw another one

I know you all tried to keep a lid on this secret. But I knew extraordinary results on the football field called for extraordinary reasons. And now we know why.  😂

It’s never been a secret 😂

Dude just stop. We aren’t talking general bus transportation for all students. The article made it very clear what was going on.  Rollinson arranged for vans that school employees living near those areas could drive to and from the campus each day. As many as a dozen players ride in the vans.”

😂
