DevilDog
Being a Track guy and from a Family of PVIL and UIL Champs and others who qualified for State. It's hard to comprehend Refugio running a 41.93. Having a kid running a 10.32 100M is also ridiculous for 2A. This is as impressive as Dville breaking sub 40 in 6A. I'm going to have to go look at the archives. Those might be the 4 fastest 2A times ever. Hell if you run a 42.5 You are considered a National Elite 4x100 HS.
GoBigBlack
Track isn’t a very popular sport in CA. But those 4x100 2A times are absolutely ridiculous.
DevilDog
This is Texas Putting it Down. Dville sub 40. Top 5 all time/ Bad Anchor handoff cost the National Record. Duncanville just ran a top 5 all-time 39.98 and three other teams went under 40.3 in the 6A boys 4x100m final at the 2022 UIL Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

DevilDog
Summer Creek Putting it down in the 4x400. One good looking group of athletes. They beat the Best of FL and Cali by 30 yds earlier this year. Now vs. the Best of Texas. Valiant effort by Lake Ridge but this group on another level this year. I believe if they ran with the Jamaicans they would run a sub 3:

Ararar
Last week, Serra’s Rodrick Pleasant grabbed the spotlight with his performance in the 100- and 200-meter races at the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 championships at Moorpark High School. Saturday, it was more of the same from the Serra junior. Pleasant ran the 100 meters in 10.14 seconds, the fastest wind-legal time in state history. Long Beach Jordan’s Jordan Washington finished second at 10.38. Pleasant’s time was better than the previous state record that was set by Henry Thomas (Hawthorne HS, 1985).

He would’ve been the back 2 back state champ. Insane he ran a 10.25 at damn near 6’2 200. Freak. First rounder if he stays healthy.

Didn’t look like he was very close to 200lbs during track season. 10.25 is still a 10.25. McNair running a 10.6 and 21.6 at 230lbs… now that was scary. He weighed in at 194 in August for hell week this past year. I’d assume he’s 200 now after his first semester of college strength training. Bro I can't wait for the Cali State Meet. Imagine if Cali, Florida and Texas could hook up with those Jamaica kids. They should have a special High School meet with those 4 every year. Like at the end of the Track season where all of our kids are at their peak. We might not beat them. But it damn sure will not be how they ragdoll those slow as schools from NJ, NY, VA and MD in the Penn Relays every year.
