Pretty much. Elway carried them to those AFC championships.

Denver opponents set a number of SB records in all these games where Elway fell short. Capped off by the still most lopsided margin of victory ever in a Super Bowl.

NFC bastards.

Giants 39, Broncos 20

Redskins 42, Broncos 10

49ers 55, Broncos 10

The NFC back in the 80's and early 90's had some of the best dynasties ever.  The Giants ( 2 sb's ) , Redskins (3 sb's ), Niners ( 5 sb's ), Cowboys ( 3 sb's ), Bears ( 1sb ) .  Even though Bears only won once, they were a team to be  reckoned  with . Same with Philly with the minister of defense . Dominating teams. Then came salary cap

Yep, and in the 70's the AFC dominated. And the AFC has done well since the NFC won 13 in a row into the late 90's. It's gone back and forth.

I can't take anymore Atticus today....

This happens when your entire existence in a thread is predicated on where a player was born or went to school.

And you praise them based on whatever increasingly small sample you can grasp on to: a season, a game, a quarter, even a play.

There is no low that has been discovered yet.

Yea, it has evened out . It seems like the window of opportunity to win a SB for most teams other than NE, has been around 3 yrs as of late . KC may prove otherwise
