MA Fan
I understand they don't draw huge crowds and that Hersheypark Stadium is kind of a dump, but this still seems bush league? https://tribhssn.triblive.com/piaa-football-soccer-championships-moving-from-hershey-to-cumberland-valley/
RedZone
Cumberland Valley's Stadium looks ok.....8,000 is a good crowd. I think most states use larger venues though for champ games and going smaller seems odd. i'm not sure why they would lock it down for 4 years either. Can PA fill Cumberland Valley's Stadium? MA Fan
I don't think they've been drawing anywhere close to 8,000 in Hershey. Most states have high school stadiums that could hold state championship crowds if that's all they cared about.
Oldballcoach
Maryland uses Navy Marine Corps. Virginia uses ODU & Liberty. Delaware uses UD. Seems bush league for PA they seem to value football more then Maryland

Cost of rent for the stadium is usually the culprit for moves like this, but, variables like having the games televised affect it as well. The appearance of a more full stadium because of less seats to fill and etc. At the end of the day, people that don't have a kid on one of the teams playing and some hardcore fans that live pretty close by will be what you get. Having a large venue like Hershey is an addition to the attraction.

I say give the kids something to dream about little played a big Stadium. If I had a vote that's what I'd say let them play at Arena Stadium and I don't care if there's only 5,000 people there.
