What are some the most attended OOS games in high school football history?

1-2007: Miami Northwestern, FL vs Southlake Carroll, TX-almost 32,000 (SMU Stadium, TX)

2-2005: Longview, TX @ West Monroe, La-almost 26,000 (Independence Stadium, La)

3-2006: John Curtis, La @ Hoover, AL-almost 15,000 (per hooveroutlaw at Hoover Met Stadium)

Who are some more, include photos if possible.

I remember this game having a huge crowd. We need more Kirk Herbstreit and much less slimeballjoe.

2006: Lakeland, FL @ St Xavier, OH (UC's Nippert Stadium-(12,000-15,000)

St. Xavier lost a football game Saturday for the first time in two years, but the Bombers actually gained some prestige in a battle of national titans.
Lakeland (Fla.), rated No. 3 nationally by USA Today, beat the No. 8 Bombers 25-22 in overtime at UC's Nippert Stadium. It was the marquee game of the McDonald's Kirk Herbstreit Ohio vs. USA Challenge, and a crowd estimated between 12,000 to 15,000 watched the heavyweights duke it out.

2009: Byrnes, SC @ STA, FL (Lockhart Stadium, 15,000)

With St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) ... 2 Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.) 42-34 on Friday night in front of 15,000 at Lockhart Stadium.

One of the best OOS games ever and probably the most people to ever watch STA play in Florida.

Negative, dumbbird.

I like OOS games for the most part.  I don't like people making more of OOS games than what they are and living their lives on the outcomes in every thread. That's pretty freakin' stupid.

Back, not so very long ago, the OOS game used to be a big deal and well attended......especially the huge matchups.

slimeballjoe is slowly destroying that and saturating the market with his 24/7/365 OOS bullshit.

We have an archive here genius.   Several persona names of yours will be found in heated OOS thread debates concerning outcomes and especially if one school is from LA.

Some hyped games for this year won't draw 4,000.....almost Geico like.

#tragic.

2003 Evangel at Hoover is the most packed I have ever seen the Hoover Met it was 15,000 plus. Local station wjox sports broadcast their afternoon show from the MET and talked the game up all week.  People were sitting in the aisles. It was the biggest none Micheal Jordan crowd for a sporting event in the METS  history.

...13,000 per AlabamaVarsity, still a huge high school crowd. It's hard to pinpoint attendance, but you can see full/packed stadiums.

Still don't know how Evangel lost that game. They held Hoover to minus-1 yard rushing.

HOOVER- Senior quarterback John Parker Wilson threw two touchdown passes in the first half and the Hoover defense staved off a last-ditch Evangel rally with an interception in the final minute as the Bucs downed the visiting Eagles 21-14 Thursday night.

A crown estimated at more than 13,000 was on hand at the Hoover Met to see the battle of nationally ranked prep football powers.

All of lowndes big games are sold out so that's 12k+ we've had times were extra seating was brought in now telling what those numbers were.

Winnersville classic is always overflowing and will be back booming since Valdosta is back in our region.

How many people were at the Nease game w/ Tebow?

Mater Dei/IMG had a huge crowd especially considering IMG probably brought 45 people.

"Mater Dei, ranked No. 3 nationally, rallied in the final minutes Friday night defeating top-ranked IMG Academy 28-24 in front of a standing-room-only crowd estimated at 10,000 at Santa Ana Stadium."

Most interesting OOS game I attended was IMG vs MD. Guessing around 11k if one includes the end zone and other areas that were jammed up. What really set this one apart however was how the crowd on both sides of the stadium interacted with the game. It was intense from KO to that last MD drive.

Your fingers a a lot quicker than mine...LOL.

Actually however jIMG brought a huge contingent. Steeler and I sat on the IMG side... had a great time interacting with them and they seemed to be everywhere and were rocking the stands as hard as the MD side.

IMG may have brought 25 people. One thing for sure is that they didn’t bring 5 people to the st Frances game that #fatjoe claimed was a #pglsellout! 😂😂😂

Simple, but sad explanation. ⬇️

He thinks he’s a boxing promoter lying about PPV sales. 10,000 - 3,400 = 6.6K ticket sales that never happened. And for what? No reason.

9k to 10k because it was held on campus which only seats 10k. It was held on campus because the Birmingham Barons were still in the playoffs. Field temperature on the artificial grass was 130.

99% of fans do not like the campus stadium.

AHP at Colquitt for the ESPN kick off classic game in 2016 probably had between 8 and 10k. I never saw the numbers to say for sure, but, a packed Mack Tharpe is supposed to hold 10k. Seemed pretty full to me.

Hoover at Colquitt was a pretty solid crowd as well.

I have been at Colquitt twice it was a full house.
