The the article is toilet paper because of the source? I can say that about 95% of what's available on this topic - most are part of the Green Agenda.

Hydrocarbons aren’t the only thing that come out of the ground when operators drill and frack wells in Pennsylvania. Drillers also report a staggering amount of waste products, including more than 65 million barrels (2.7 billion gallons) of liquid waste and 1.2 million tons of solid waste in the 12-month period.

Waste facilities have significant issues such as inducing earthquakes, toxic leachate, and radioactive sediments in streambeds.

Waste Type Liquid Waste (Barrels) Solid Waste (Tons)
Basic Sediment 63
Brine Co-Product 247
Drill Cuttings   1,094,208
Drilling Fluid Waste 1,439,338 11,378
Filter Socks   143
Other Oil & Gas Wastes 2,236,750 6,387
Produced Fluid 61,376,465 41,165
Servicing Fluid 17,196 3,250
Soil Contaminated by Oil & Gas Related Spills   25,505
Spent Lubricant Waste 1,104
Synthetic Liner Materials   21,051
Unused Fracturing Fluid Waste 7,077 1,593
Waste Water Treatment Sludge   35,151
Grand Total 65,078,240 1,239,831

Figure 2. Oil and gas waste generated by fracked wells as reported by drillers from November 1, 2018 through October 31, 2019. Data from ref: PA DEP.

Some of the waste is probably best described as sludge, and several of the categories allow for reporting in barrels or tons. Almost all of the waste was in the well bore at one time or another, although there are some site-related materials that need to be disposed of, including filter socks which separate liquid and solid waste, soils contaminated by spills, spent lubricant, liners, and unused frack fluid waste.

Where does all of this waste go? We worked with Earthworks earlier this year to take a deep dive into the data, focusing on these facilities that receive waste from Pennsylvania’s oil and gas wells. While the majority of the waste is dealt with in-state, a significant quantity crosses state lines to landfills and injection wells in neighboring states, and sometimes as far away as Idaho.

Please see the report, Pennsylvania Oil & Gas Waste for more details.

Deep down  I really don’t care about what’s going on with Russia, who the fuck are we to play the good guys when as a country we’ve down diabolical and sinister shit to get where our country is today, started with the native Americans and still happening in Middle East

The whole idea is to protect your assets and allies. In his case, he doesn't want Ukraine joining NATO and to hinder that he needs to get rid of their current government. His end game is probably trying to reassemble the USSR. Who knows though.

If yall think this stuff is bad now...Just wait until we're nearing exhaustion of the worlds oil supply. That day is coning. There will be wars likw we've never seen before. Mad Max for reals. I don't suspect that will happen in our lifetimes, and, it may not happen to the human race before some extinction level event happens and we eventually are the dinosaurs that turn into oil for some future earth dwellers. No way of knowing.

I don't think hanging onto our own strategic oil reserves that we know we have underground is a bad idea though. With the population of the planet growing and more and more people and countries entering into the need of petroleum, it's not a terrible move to try hanging onto as much as we can.

You not only can say it but you do say it.  Imagine being so unwilling to listen to, ANYTHING you do not want to educate yourself on, that 95 % of 'what's available' on a given topic is pure agenda.  That is beyond any reasonable position to take but you do so without the slightest embarrassment or 2nd thought.  And btw, it is called science and not an agenda.  Also, your determination to remain stupid despite the overwhelming EVIDENCE to the contrary is more of a threat to our way of life than your cult's determination to destroy this country bc you are afraid of the future you cannot change.

This  is the ultimate kick in the balls.  When it gets bad, and I agree we most likely won't be around to see it, these idiots will be angry in the extreme about not being told or warned.  If any country can stay ahead of what is coming our way, it won't be the US of A.  And that country can't withstand the effects of other countries not even able to stay even with what is coming.  To even think of this in terms of ideology is, again. stupid in the extreme and completely avoidable.  No party will benefit from what is coming and even the Republicans, who are largely responsible for the inaction on any meaningful counter measures concerning climate change, will escape responsibility in the history books.  At that point it won't matter at all and our way of life will fundamentally be downgraded.

You know Hawg, humanity will only be saved if we can  learn to see each ourselves in another.  To understand, in a fundamental way, that our well being is bound up and dependent on each other.  You understand this.  As do others who read this forum.  This point is so important, and as such, will be ignored by those who NEED to hear this.  And if they were to do so they would not suffer ANY LESSENING of what makes them a human/man/hsfb fan/etc.

Look in the mirror. I look at many sources and make logical deductions and form my own opinions on many topics. You’re completely brainwashed it’s comical.

Yep, the actions of the last guy accompanied by a pandemic and a lot of government stimulus equal the current guy dealing with inflation.

The facts are clear.

The fix is really gonna piss some folks off. Fed has to raise the interest rates and the government has to start shrinking the amount of money in circulation. Gonna be some tough times ahead for the little guy, no matter who is in office.

Which "actions by the last guy"?

It is pure coincidence that gas prices started rising just shortly after Biden was elected?  Just as it was "pure coincidence" that declines in unemployment accelerated just after Trump was elected?

Why would gas prices rise before Biden even takes office? While DJT was still in control?

Cooinkadink or what?

Anyway, periods of inflation always seem to follow extended periods of really low interest rates. Also, the "just print more money to lower the us debt" bullshit of DJT. Add in stimulus monies flooding the market. Add in economic growth due to the aforementioned things like printing more money and stimulus, outpacing production capabilities. Etc. Etc.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2020/03/28/donald-trump-and-the-fed-are-destroying-the-us-dollar/?sh=b1204e46ebcb

I don't hate on DJT for having to do the stimulus. But, it's time to stop being disingenuous and blaming Biden for shit caused by his predecessor and his policies.

Of course Biden hasn't done much of shit to stem it all either. He's in that damned if he do and damned if he doesnt spot at the moment. If he doesn't then high inflation rates continue. If he does, you'll be out here bitching he killed the growth by pressuring the fed ro raise rates.

Yall can argue in circles back here all you want.

Just print some more cash. That'll fix it.

Conservatives enjoy the ride of long term stable economic growth, then pour kerosene on the fire, and get mad when the fire burns down because they burned all the fuel too fast.

The ant and the grasshopper right?

Shit everywhere then they have to play in the shit, then wanna blame it on someone else. xD

Yup, all Trump’s fault. You guys really are delusional and lap up any narrative thrown your way.
