Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park will forfeit all of its games during the 2021-22 season due to ineligible player violation, according to a memo sent to parents from the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA). Myers Park self-reported a violation after school officials were made aware of fraudulent paperwork associated with a player transfer and eligibility.

A joint message from Myers Park principal Robert Folk and athletic director Brian Poore indicates the school was in violation for using an ineligible player-residence requirement and school officials appealed the decision, according to WBTV.

Myers Park had several players from California and at least one from Texas on its roster last season, but it is unclear if one of those athletes was involved in the violation, The Charlotte Observer reports.

That's a slap on the wrist for them considering the rest of the state has accused them off this for years.
