It's a world destination . You didn't mention that there is cheap camping all around the lake . I also enjoy the privilege of living in norcal , so I can go up there for the day, or stay or whatever . I've been up there probably 100-150 times . They have nice casinos with good sports books, so you can go up watch and play the games , take a break and walk around lake etc. To just sit at the lake from any vantage point , it can be a surreal moment . It's at over 6,000 ft elevation with the sierras all around . Many other scenic lakes up around . I've been to some of the great lakes also, which are really nice, but Tahoe has it all. The athlete's love that area . They have the celebrity golf tourney there every year . I've walked the 18 holes watching Jordan, Ray Allen, Super Mario and Gretzky play together one year standing right next to these guys. You should just go and experience the area. You won't make the tragic mistake of putting it down

Some people think South Lake Tahoe is a dump.....

Anyways, it doesn't matter in the large picture. I see you didn't mention fishing though......think I will stay right here at home. Thanks for the sales pitch though.

Cal Preps relying on data from HC at each school. Out HC never sent because guy at MaxPreps when he tried to send one time told him I dont know who you are so it doesnt matter.

..98% of high school football coaches know or care nothing at all about Calpreps..

Why should they? It's not like you can go there to get valuable data for your next week's game......injuries, coach sick, weather and whatnot. All you get is a computer generated number on information they didn't have to start off with. lol

Coaches get more useable "data" just reading their. local papers

what , in the late 1800's early 1900's . Things change .

It hasn't changed that much....people still flock here and NOLA always ranks  very highly in National Tourism......it's why we've hosted 10 Super Bowls and other major sporting events...too many to mention. A lot of people wish the Super Bowl would be played here permanently.

Lots of people visit NOLA every year, but very few of them take advantage of our Lakes, Bayou's and State Parks.......just too much stuff to do, I guess. The history/culture, sightseeing, party, food, alcohol, etc......shame on those people for not spending a day at City Park or Audubon Park, two of the nicest City Parks in the Nation.

You could spend a nice day or two at Bayou St John.......one of the 20 Bayous NOLA has running though it.

You will see things you've probably never seen before in your life, of course you get ALL the extra's too. Great food, alcohol, music, shops, whatever you want. People don't even know about it.

Lots of major history to that Bayou.

Only people from nj like that dumb bimbo snooki....and whoever is ignorant enough to hang around with that fat slob of a female.

Other's have no problems and can afford the "good beers".

Throwing up and pissing on the street is not a requirement to have a good time here, but many take that badge home with them like a major life accomplishment. I really pity nj people.

"hey snooki", "you want to hang at City Park with us for a day and check it out?",

snooki "nah, I want to stay right here and feed my fat face with oysters, $2.00 beers, jello shots, throw up all over myself and then fuck later like I've never fucked before, have fun at the park though, feed a duck for me".

My $0.02.  Tremendous places to see in LA/CA and pretty much every state.  Some more than others, but also different things appeal to different people.  I think people have every right to be proud of where they live.

Also a rankings system that is data driven and releases a ranking when there is no data available is a little odd.  Would indicate that it does have latent data driving it.  No biggie, in the end it's not too important as it will change after data comes around.

That simply isn't true though....

Example: Bishop Dunne (Dallas) won the D1 TAPP State Championship and ended #12 in Texas in 2018. CE Byrd (Shreveport) beat Bishop Dunne that year 17-14. CE Byrd was nothing to brag about that year they ended #27 in Louisiana at (7-3).

Everyone cried NO WAY in hell was Bishop  Dunne #12 in Texas. If Calpreps is that off at the end with Bishop Dunne then they are that off with every other team they try to rank from other states.

12 Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX)   team preview   trend Texas TAPPS Division I District 2 TAPPS I 11-3 4-0 (1st) 9-1 54.6 35.9 99-64
WINS: #184 Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) (23-14), #328 Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) (13-9), #328 Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) (21-13), #427 Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX) (31-20), #427 Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX) (16-7), #466 Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) (21-14), #731 St. Pius X (Houston, TX) (42-0), #1280 Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) (48-0), #3140 All Saints (Fort Worth, TX) (52-7), #3302 John Paul II (Plano, TX) (63-7), #3899 Trinity Christian (Addison, TX) (45-7), LOSSES: #282 DeSoto (TX) (19-7), #731 St. Pius X (Houston, TX) (17-7), #848 Byrd [C. E.] (Shreveport, LA) (17-14)

I have some Calpreps mind benders when it comes to the "finished product". Maybe tonight I'll post a couple or 3.

It's all MOV and playoff bumps at Calpreps. A child could see that flawed logic.

Does anyone with a sound mind really believe 4A China Spring was the 6th best team in Texas last year?

6 China Spring (TX)   team preview   trend Texas 4A-2 Region III District 9 4A-2 16-0 5-0 (1st) 12-0 64.3 28.8 116-76
WINS: #118 Carthage (TX) (27-17), #149 Lorena (TX) (21-13), #170 Gilmer (TX) (31-7), #283 West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX) (31-14), #483 Cuero (TX) (34-9), #734 Trinity Christian (Addison, TX) (49-15), #1574 Sealy (TX) (48-7), #1726 Salado (TX) (48-7), #2741 Madisonville (TX) (50-7), #2884 Connally (Waco, TX) (48-7), #3163 Lampasas (TX) (47-7), #3621 Gatesville (TX) (41-10), #3755 Brownwood (TX) (57-21), #6793 Robinson (TX) (52-21), #6916 Mexia (TX) (56-7), #7389 Jarrell (TX) (74-0), LOSSES: none

If anyone believes that and believes IN THAT they really have NO business at this forum.

Your problem is you believe Calpreps reveals facts instead of information
