Will D4/1A Southern Lab (Baton Rouge) Have More Players Drafted than mater dei (aka Lawsuit High)?

That's really the question everyone wants answered today.

It's a strong possibility that Southern  Lab has 3 players drafted this year off their 2016 squad that went 11-1 and won the D4/1A Louisiana State Championship....another will probably be drafted next year making 4 off that 2016 team.

RB Ty Davis (LSU) was drafted by the 49ers 3rd Round.

LB Damone Clark (LSU)-will be drafted today, 4th Round.

LB/DE Chris Allen (Alabama)-thinking maybe 6th or 7th Round, or he could be a Dylan Moses and be one of the first UDFA's to be scooped up because of his season ending injury. He was a 2nd or 3rd Rounder before the injury.

Southern Lab OL Kardell Thomas is in a battle to win a starting job this year at LSU...he's a redshirt junior.

Southern Lab  scheduled IMG Academy in 2015.....got handled 40-0, but they moved the ball......could have had some points....Southern Lab was much much better in 2016 though.

They are not scared of anyone.

I’ll be honest Red I’ve seen a lot of Dogshit schedules in my life but that 2016 schedule easily takes the cake, actually pretty damn embarrassing that your coach put this schedule together knowing how good his team was in 2016

Congrats to them. Wonderful really. The #1 pick in the 2023 draft will be ok for us. More to come of course. Just please don’t call him the most degrading racial slur during the ‘23 draft.
