They claim the 1,000 or so infants in the immigration system are using enough food to steal food from the 2 or 3 million others. Their answer is to give what is reserved for care in such cases as immigrants, to the babies whose parents that have nannies and 7 figure incomes. How about feeding the child food. In November 21, this was given a quick blurb by most of the media outlets but since the administrations voting base was relatively unaffected at that time, no response. Fast forward a few months and Abbott, who is the single biggest supplier of formula under many brands , and is under contract with agencies that are contracted with the US government to supply formula for WIC, has to shut down supply due to a contamination issue. Interestingly, WIC recipients get alerted of possible shortages and that becomes a signal to start hoarding. Now, all mothers, whether wealthy or poor are having a hard time getting the stuff. So you’re absolutely right, tough shit to all of them, find an alternative. The fact that the government has been stockpiling formula to support the ongoing historically large mass immigration event, is a bit of a slap in the face to anyone that relies on the stuff, but whatever, it’s spoken for so hands off.
