once again survives killing people with his life. What makes them so angry as to kill indiscriminately? We know their plight. Their fight to maintain their status as the hustorically self proclaimed superior, holding dominion over all others in this country. In reality, they are the weakest of all mentally. Each gain by others is taken as a threat to their ruling position.

Everything America is, is due to the work of those not accepted as equal to them, admittedly by their own words and deeds. It was built on the backs of those who today, still are marginalized and from the start were set uo to fail.

When karma arrives, it will be preceded by the gaslighting that has been the history to this point.

It’s just interesting. Why was he not shot? [Not that I would want him to be.] He was armed, he was shooting people, he was a threat to society and police, he had a record.

He surrendered and apparently didn't point the gun at the cops or shoot at them. He had stopped shooting people.

I will probably regret responding to anything over here .  I only address matters that affect Black people with other black people.  But watching that video and seeing him shoot black women like animals  and give a white man a pass at the cash register is something I can't get out of my mind.  My lady called me and said she will not go shopping without me.  That Terrorist and his Posse has ignited a distinct fear and anger.   These are not Lone Wolves either.   I was so pissed off going into the store today.  I didn't trust anyone that looked like him.   This was traumatic.   The Asian shooter at the Church was Asian.  Sir what does that have to do with BLM and why would they be crushed? At a Sunday afternoon press conference, officials said the suspect, described as an Asian adult in his 60s, was stopped and hogtied by the legs with an extension cord by a group of churchgoers after the suspect opened fire at a lunch banquet following church service.

Again I am sure I will regret posting on this ridiculous side of this site.  If I can be called a N --er on a football site, pretty sure it's plenty more walking around viewing me with the same disdain.

There's gotta be about 100 million white men in this country. How many go on racist killing sprees? Work the numbers.

These (rare) asshats deserve to fry, but the reality is that the deaths they cause are not even a blip on the radar compared to black-on-black violence.  I'd bet that a black person is literally hundreds if not thousands of times more likely to die at the hands of another member of the black community.

It's not clear to me how useful it is to identify the racial and ethnic breakdown of mass shooters—but it is pretty clear that it's not useful to misidentify that breakdown. And the suggestion I've seen from various people (one example here) that mass shooters are disproportionately white does seem to be a mistake.

Here, for instance, is the data based on the Mother Jones database of 121 mass shootings from 1982 to 2021 (unlikely, given the source, to be influenced by conservative ideology), compared to the 2000 Census statistics on the population as a whole (on the theory that it should roughly approximate the population average from 1982 to 2021):

In some cases it just comes down to the circumstances.  I suppose there’s something to learn by investigating what caused this specific individual to snap.  However, I do think he’s done enough to prove that he’s a significant threat to society so he should be eliminated once he’s found guilty.

In addition, I understand that he DID get shot (by the security guard) but was wearing body armor.
