they don't have background checks at gun shows and we also need a 21 day waiting period yesterday...the republicans are the only ones standing in the way of gun reform. We need to do what NY just signed into law and not let brainwashed teenagers buy assault weapons and we need to raise the age to 21 to be able to but a gun yesterday...and that's something the right wants no part of...unborn life huh?..I bet you support the death penalty like a good Christian.

I want to say after Columbine happened; the response protocol changed as to how to deal with situations like this.

If kids practice active shooter drills in the schools, I would believe the police are trained to assess the event and take measures to apprehend an active shooter.

NY the land of massive gun violence, people crapping on the street, innocent people thrown in front of trains, etc etc etc despite some of the toughest gun policies all while practice no bail policies. As for gun shows I would expect you can’t read background checks occur at gun shows I know I bought one there. The shooter in the last two incidents in Buffalo and Texas both cleared federal background checks.

The background checks vary from state to state at gun shows and we don't have a 21 day waiting period which we need ASAP. Do you think an 18 year old should be able to buy the guns these 2 kids did?...a weapon of mass destruction...he held the cops at bay for an hour...an 18 year old child.

We have waiting periods. The kid in Buffalo threatened to shoot his school up prior yet background check did nothing. It is a failure of police, school professionals oh and did you see he was coached on line possibly by a former federal agent how to execute the shooting. He didnt hold the cops at bay in Tx watch the video the police were arresting parents trying to get to their kids and waiting for a BORTAC team from Del Rio.
