They also allow Rich grifters to ingrain themselves into their party and tell them whats real and whats fake while calling themselves free thinkers and accusing everyone else of being sheep...

True, most aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. They rely on compensated charlatans for guidance. Speaking of which Concha chimes in, right on time......Welcome sir

Unbelievable !   And the Right doesn't see a problem. Concha watch the 1:35 second Video and please comment.

I've watched it.

I'd also be willing to wager that the vast majority of gun show sellers wouldn't do what that man did. And I've been to many gun shows.

The recent perps didn't buy their guns in this fashion.

I'm sure you're more than willing to make blanket judgments over a single video though.  Your mind is that simple.

Agree, one would hope most wouldn't sell to the kid. But just a little common sense says something should be done at open air gun markets to prohibit this from happening as it was shown.

seriusly that’s impressed, do you know how hard I’ve tried to do that

I'm surprised cause it doesn't usually take us southern guys long to get pissed off with you know-it-all's from New York or New Jersey   :)

You'd things things like the party that promises to solve the nation's inner city issues would be successful. But it doesn't. They make them worse. For their own benefit.

You'd think government would be smart enough to know that police are rarely already at the places that bad people attack and that by the police get there, the damage is already done.

You'd hope drug laws would solve the drug problem (feel free to substitute "gun crime" for "drugs").

One thing at a time. No deflection, no misdirection those are for another day, another time.  Guns are HOT now. If not now it's kicked down the road again until the next big one. Results stay the same if nothing is ever done differently.

So what exactly do you recommend doing

1) Did you watch the video of the 13 yr old buying the gun ? Start with that.

2) 18 yr old's can't be allowed to buy an AR-15 or the like.

3) Better background checks

4) More stringent checks and waiting times for Military grade weapons and ammunitions

5) Ban them later (personal choice, but unrealistic in the foreseeable future.

6) outlaw armor piercing bullets to the public

Any or all of the above. One at a time, pick one, just something that might change things for the better. Doing nothing hasn't helped at all. It's the same hurt over and over.

ok so banning ARs and hallow bullets will end mass shootings , cool I’m all aboard now , why didn’t anyone ever tell me this

and what does better background checks actually mean?

Hey man, I get the sarcasm. I don't have the answers. But after Columbine (23 yrs ago) how does a school system still be so unprepared and inapt like this Texas one. Start there if it floats your boat....something, anything

I explained my solution to the school shooting problem on another thread.

It's interesting how any time a conservative brings up the South Side of Chicago, liberals roll their eyes and complain about "whataboutism".  There is a "next big one" every weekend there. Just one part of one city. 214 murders just so far this year in Chicago, overwhelmingly in the poor, minority areas in the West and South of the city. One city.

But what do liberals REALLY get worked up about?  The general profile in recent years is a black man getting killed by the police purportedly in an unjust shoot. The victim may be the under the use of drugs, maybe violating a restraining order, often has a record, but is almost universally not obeying the cop's orders or is assaulting the cop or resisting arrest. Boy Scouts and choir boys all. Liberal orgs like BLM will whip up the mob across the nation. Billions in damages. Multiple people invariably die. Many more are injured.  Then there are things like school shootings or the shooting in Buffalo.  [WE DUTIFULLY IGNORE THE MASS KILLING IN WAUKESHA BY A BLACK NATIONALIST, AS THAT DOESN'T FIT THE NARRATIVE]

The average total deaths from these police shootings and occasional mass shootings in any given year? Almost certainly under a hundred. But maybe they break into the very low three figures on occasion. Tragic.

But how does that compare to what goes on in our inner cities? Every WEEK.  Shhhhhhh...  Doesn't fit the narrative.

A 50% cut in the supposedly bad police killings or the mas shootings will save less than what you might save in the inner cities by just reducing the murders just 1% or 2%.

Guess which the left and their media allies focus on?

It’s just complicated , the VT kid shot +50 and killed +30 with a damn gun , he was enrolled at VT so his record and prolly smart enough to pass the background check,,, what qualifies someone to pass a backround check?

The man who stopped the Uvalde shooter was a member of an elite border patrol tactical squad who was off duty and driving in the area when he heard the gunshots ring out.  without hesitation He ran into the school to put an end to the threat.

While Republicans are coming up with Solutions Democrats have absolutely nothing as usual so they go after their political opponent.
Keep in mind Democrats are for defund the police.
They do not want police or security anywhere near the school's. I believe they  actually want mass shootings they love it.

These Democrats are bought and paid for communist. Their biggest goal has been to disarm America for a half a century.

Defund the police Democrats are Pretenders. They don't want a cop guard anywhere near a school.

They act like they got the answer when their only strategy is when the 911 calls come in they will send the social workers over there😀.

Nobody with intelligence really believes them taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is going to do a damn thing except hurt our chances of stopping these tragedies.

Security guard is the ONLY answer.

Real Life Heros
JACOB ALBARADO  & The other agent

The texas school shooting was horrible   These 2  men   are part of the Border Patrols Most elite agents trained to exchange heavy gunfire against Cartels in  the worst situations most can’t and stop bad things from happening even if it means by deadly force  News don’t want to talk about Jacob and minimum about The other agent much but these men  deserve the recognition
Jacobs  wife is a teacher and his Daughter named Jayda was also in the school    He sat down for a haircut with his barber when he got a text from his wife saying “there’s an active shooter, I love you”
He jumped up, grabbed a gun and went right to the school.   The other agent  was eating lunch 40 mins away When the police couldn’t do anything they needed a new plan and that’s when these two showed up.

They went right into the school , Jacob saved his wife, hugged his daughter as other officers escorted them out of the school safely.   He didn’t stop once his wife and daughter were safe, paired up with The other agent  on their days off both men were first in the line of fire clearing every wing of the school then got to the room the shooter was in .   These 2 HEROs are the only ones  of all the swat ,police and other border agents  who had enough heart, skills and balls to take charge of the situation the entire police force and swat team couldn’t handle , and open the door resulting in the shooter being killed  when the entire police force and swat team  couldn’t
This  is an example of  True Badass HERO’s
Give this man Jacob  some Recognition  along with The other agent     In his own words
“I did what I was trained to do”
You sir Are the fkng MAN!!!   Both of You Hero’s
#Uvalde  #UvaldeStrong   #usa #uvaldetx #uvaldeschoolshooting #UVA

You seem very pleased with yourself that Texas has a hero....

We do tend to glorify our heroes.

For every one of these hero guys there's 10 to 15 losers waiting to mow down another school.

We don't have enough heroes to go around, butter.

Why do you refuse to accept fact? Does your emotional instability leave you short on the ability to see truth?

Your inbred hate must consume your every waking moment. The refusal to accept simple truth shines brightly on your inepititude as a human.

Please stop the flow of bullshit you keep pumping into your keyboard.

Seriously, jackass.
