The coach of Lake Gibson was on Twitter bragging about how he knows people and that’s why he got his team on TV multiple times. Why does who a coach know matter as to which games are televised? They can’t drink, they can’t gamble. I mean what the hell? At the least DC trips for Johns Creek made sense historically. Now Brookwood is 1-3 with games against undefeated teams in Grayson and Parkview left in the regular season. All of your kids are not only physically beaten up but they’re embarrassed. They’re going to school on Monday after getting absolutely destroyed on national television. He knew his team wouldn’t compete in this game. Why take it? If it’s a season opener okay whatever you get spanked and rebound telling them you have everything to play for in front of you. Now you have to get a group of kids to regroup that are 1-3 with losses ahead of them. Best case scenario you lose SIX games this season (Parkview, Grayson, playoff loss). I’ve been saying this whole time these kids won’t remember some building they visited. They will remember getting embarrassed on national TV. That’s it.
