Duckburghsfinest1987
Also, find it very interesting that, Bolsa Grande HS, they have finally snapped Orange County's longest playoff appearance drought, they are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 1987.

It's all about Calpreps seeding. They're completely irrespective of anything else, especially travel. In D-III, you have Thousand Oaks driving all the way out to Temecula to play Chaparral. At the same time, you'll have Vista Murrieta driving out to Santa Barbara to play Bishop Diego. The buses will probably pass by each other at some point. Duckburghsfinest1987
Well Bolsa Grande won the the first round of the playoffs in their division, what a way to make up for lost time, since its their first trip to the playoffs since 1987, the longest playoff appearance drought in Orange County history. Also, El Modena HS won a close nail biter against Pasadena HS in the first round, score 15-14. Speaking of El Modena HS, i think that HS is the Alma Mater of long-time legendary MD QB Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Dave Money.

If the score holds, Warren would finish the season 9-2 with an average MOV for their two losses of 2 points (13-16, 21-22).

For the most part, pretty competitive. Citrus Valley took a big step forward with a convincing revenge win over Cajon. I would like to have seen Edison in this bracket. Bishop Amat might find a tough go with Oak hills even though they have the athlete advantage.
Duckburghsfinest1987
last season, LB Poly was in Division 4, now they are back in D-1, this Los Al-Poly match-up looks to be the Griffins time, but then after that, Los Al is done for.

Duckburghsfinest1987
Well first time MD and Los Al will be playing each other since Los Al wrecked them 20 years ago at Angel stadium, for the CIF section title, but no doubt it's going to be another Cakewalk for MD, Los Al doesn't stand a chance:
