A few take aways, WOW at the top scores and the top four being separated by a point. Not surprised that Hebron is on top, but The Woodlands! Flower Mound in seventh raises my eyes a little, but Marcus 13th and behind Coppell! Amanda Drinkwater is rolling over in her grave (except she's still alive and the head of Fine Arts for the district, but still....) This is a show called "Into the Light" which was done by West Monroe in the state band finals a couple years ago. It was done in tribute to a young lady in the band who had terminal cancer. She is the one out front (Gold Orb) during this show and up on the platform at the end (and please watch until the end)... very moving when you know the back story. That was incredibly touching, thank you SO MUCH for posting. What a tribute to what appears to be a very courageous young lady and opportunity to honor her when she was there to appreciate it.
