I doubt this very seriously...more like #97

.....0-2 OOS, a blowout to the florida school and loss to a good Iona Prep, NY team.

I don't see Iona Prep, NY ranked.

Just not a very great representation of what's really going on.

Dominating Bergen 31-7 trumps that fluke upset loss to Iona. Also, Iona lost to St. Anthony's, who lost to St. Joeph's Reg., who DBP beat also adds to my decision making.

Don't worry, though, when Bergen beats DBP in the rematch the Ironmen will be adjusted accordingly. Until that happens, DBP will stay where they are.

I don't guess it's important enough to me for a full-fledged debate..

I could easily rip that up.

You can’t rip apart a 31-7 romp over, arguably, the best team in NJ. For now, that keeps them ranked where they are. Nice try, though.

Plus they took a knee at the 1….had 3:1 in TOP and yards…saw the game…total domination by DBP…which says a lot since it is such a fierce rivalry

You seem to think that the 31-7 result was *also* a fluke so why does that matter more than the 42-35 one?

More of a dominant win=more of a statement when it comes to rankings.
Another example would be Edgewater’s dominance to be more of a statement win. That is why I have them ahead of DBP.

DBP has improved a lot since the Edgewater game…would like to see a rematch now…much better game I would think

Ah, the old stand-by. This is part of why I think the OOS games are pointless. The losing team always claims they improved dramatically and disproportionately to the winning team. Ultimately, folks never want to accept the results for what they were.

Hey edgewater could also have improved…..I respect that…just seems Bosco is a different team from August…the team that throttled BC would give Edgewater a better game imho

Did the team that throttled BC have different players than the team that lost by 24 points to Edgewater? Or did they benefit from playing a team with different players than what Edgewater had?

So you don't have them ahead of Bosco because they *beat* them? You have them ahead because they were dominant? So if they had won by 7 points, like Iona Prep, they wouldn't be ahead of them?

Just when I think you can't be any sillier or lame you go ahead and blow away my expectations.

It's funny watching people adopt the hyper-improvement theory after years of mocking it themselves.
