If anyone other than Colquitt or Mill Creek wins 7A.... Id really like to see Langston Hughes rep Georgia in the GEICO Bowl game.... they look really good.

LH looks solid.   Gonna be interesting how they mach up with some of the more battle tested squads.

Maxpreps is officially a joke. Those limp wristed weirdos had SJB  jump Miami Central.

Of course. They beat THE Mighty Allen Eagles 52 - 14.

That was SO impressive; until Guyer shut Allen out for 3 quarters and went up 42-0 to start the 4th quarter.

It’s still the marquee win for Thing 2 this year.

The GEICO game is Dec 17th 4pm at BG... same week as a lot of the Florida championships.

Only FLA team that would be available that is ranked high enough will be Chaminade-Madonna

I'd very much enjoy seeing that matchup, although it's kinda messed up Gorman will have all the time to get healthy etc.

yeah it would be interesting but if it's only one game this year and it's basically just a BG exhibition game I don't think they wait and they schedule a top team from out west. Faster start on promotion and more local interest and a team that may be able to bring more fans to the game.

Florida doesn't need 9 classes and it doesn't need championships bleeding into Christmas. Stupid people at FHSAA blindly rubber stamped by the people that can make a difference, coaches and admins.

From a FL perspective, at least to me, Chaminade v. Gorman is not very intriguing.  STA, Miami Central, a team like Lakeland when its rolling. Those would be fun matchups against Gorman, etc. We know California won't play, so it's a waste of time to predict matchups that will never happen. Florida has played and often, but their screwy scheduling seems to have messed up a potential NC game if MD somehow loses (which isn't very likely the way they are playing and bc it's Rollinson's last game).

It will never be a MNC game as long as CA, TX, OH and half of FL can't play in it. It will always just be an exhibition game to line the pockets of ESPN and Paragon. Host school too. Host school probably benefits the most. Why I am calling it the BG Invitational. It will be a 2 hour Bishop Gorman commercial and we will all get to see their great facilities for the 100th time..lol

Honestly IMG should do their own thing like this. I am sure they could get ESPN to cover it and some team will come and play to be on ESPN.

30 points and a near defeat to MNW is one valid reason

Rivalry game with talented and storied program. Be curious to know who has more NFL players at the current time, Central and Northwestern or Mater Dei and Bosco?
