TheRealCAJ
RB Tyrion Davis (LSU commit)-spring http://www.hudl.com/v/26de1Z Lab, may be the most talented team in the state..15-16 D1s (per Baton Rouge paper) and they are freakin huge on the OL/DL and ATHed up. Lab, may have 4 or 5 LSU commits by the end of the year (3 currently). The Kittens scrimmage Evangel Christian next week in Shreveport and that will be pretty interesting. Friday August 18 Southern Lab @ Evangel If Lab runs out their OOD schedule (tough) and wins another D4 State Title they will be Top 5 here small school or no small school. The Kittens open up with D3 State Champion Riverside Academy (#4 calpreps preseason). Battle of 2016 State Champions. Rummel will face Riverside this year as well. Sidenote: Lab, 5* Kardell Thomas (#1 OG nationally, LSU commit) has committed to play in the Under Armour game in 2018 (just a junior)
TheRealCAJ
SUL's, OOD schedule is quite a bit touger than the John Curtis 2012 MNC team for perspective..... Lab will war with: Riverside Academy (D3 Champs)-Rummel will war with Riverside Scotlandville (D1 Runner-up) Parkview Baptist (D2 Runner up)-John Curtis will battle Parkview Baptist again. Curtis beat Parkview Baptist 35-31 last year. U-High (D-2 Semifinals) Maxpreps currently has the Kittins #1499 Preseason. Someone, anyone, show me a more talented team in the 1000's. Southern Lab is coached by former LSU QB Marcus Randall. Best known for the Bluegrass Miracle.
Frosty4024
Lab is crazy...But it gets them ready come district/playoffs. I like it. Too bad they won't get to play Haynesville again.

Even have a little 2* QB going somewhere. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2018/quincy-filmore-202615 Can THEY hang with the Big Boys is the question....
TheRealCAJ
I'm going to say this SUL team has 3-5 NFL players including another Cam Robinson.......You heard it. #pimpinthekitten
TheRealCAJ
#pimpinthekitten's football stadium..... They share it with Southern University. http://www.stadiumconnection.com/stadium.php?id=1762
TheRealCAJ
Southern Lab (#pimpinthekitten) is Preseason #1 in 1A (they play in our smallest private school class D4 which is spit).....If SUL continues fielding these monster teams and all indications say they are getting even more talent they will have to move up to D2 or even D1 with the big boys. Picture John Curtis winning 13 or 14 2A Titles.......I believe SUL has 6 or 7 State Titles without checking.......add one more this year. That Kitten OL is mammoth (photo below) 1) Southern LabThis is an easy call. The Kittens have won two Division IV state championships by a 72-11 margin and have played for the last three Division IV state championships. Markus Martin is an excellent pash rusher off the edge. Linebacker Damone Clark is an LSU commitment. Offensive lineman Cedric Grant is a beast. Southern Lab is the definite favorite to three-peat as Division IV state champion. TheRealCAJ
4* SUL LB Damone Clark "LSU commitment Damone Clark was one of 51 high school players from around the country named to the Butkus Award Watch List for high school players. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound Clark recorded 48 tackles and four sacks to go with four interceptions from his safety spot. He has moved to linebacker for his senior season and is ranked the No. 14 inside linebacker in the 247Sports Composite. Clark committed to LSU on Jan. 15 over offers from Michigan, Florida, Ole Miss, Stanford and others. Semi-finalists for the 2017 Butkus Award will be named Oct. 30 with finalists on Nov. 20.
