Hey fly- hope all is good.  Talent is not the problem.

Physical Toughness and mental toughness - this is their problem.

I hope they prove me wrong.

All is good, hope all is well with you.  I agree, hope Dunne prove themselves.

what game you planning on attending 1 sep.?  I'm thinking of Allen/chill

No doubt TAPP is taking off and will continue to pick up steam.

The inner city public schools of Houston and Dallas are like any other large city (not very good)  and some of these kids are looking for education in addition to sports. Enter the TAPP option.

A couple of TAPP schools have actually been playing OOS teams for quite sometime though.

What has Tapps ever done to make you say this?

At best they could go 1-1 beating the Arkansas team.  I don't give them much chance to win both!!!

A lot of people are saying that, if, Dunne goes 1-1 the win will be against Fayetteville. Fayetteville has been just as good as BA, if not better. It won't surprise me if they beat BA and lose to Fayetteville. Unless, Fayetteville lost a ton from last year.

What has 80% of Texas 6A ever done and that's not the point.

The real point is what some of the TAPP teams are trying to do.

Bishop Dunne has 2 OOS games with Top 100 teams (maxpreps rankings)

Brentwood Academy #1 TN (#31 nationally)

Fayetteville #2 AR (#87 nationally)

What Texas public in any class has 2 OOS games with Top 100 teams this year?

lol at you people pimping Texas Tapps football.  I don't give a damn how many so called recruits this league may have.

Football is about the team.

1st -  The State Champion of this league - went 1-1 last year vs Dunne  (Dallas Bishop Lynch)  Both close game - Dunne won 28-21 and lost in the finals 21-17

Lynch was beat by Texarkana Texas High 44-21 to open the season -  Texas High won their district - lost in the 1st round 5A-Div 1

Bishop Dunne - Got beat Trinity Christian Addison 34-27  - This same Trinity Christian beat Denison Texas 63-61  - Denison went 5-6 playing public school ball and got beat in the 1st Round of 5A Div 2 playoffs badly by Boswell HS - who was the 3rd place team in their district.

Bishop Dunne - Actually lost to Argyle Liberty Christian -  Liberty Christian opened the season playing Texas Class 4A Div 2 schools ( the old 3A schools --- Melissa HS beat Liberty Christian 48-42,  Celina HS beat Liberty Christian 55-43, Gilmer HS beat Liberty 61-19

Yet somehow Bishop Dunne found away to lose vs Liberty Christian

When these teams play anyone with a pulse they typically get beat!

It's the same in Tapps Div 2 those teams just get beat by even smaller schools -  Last years state champion Grapevine Faith got beat by class 3A Brock -  Hell little ole Brock beat Midland Christian too.

These teams are not mentally and physically tough --- It's 2nd tier football at best

Texas Public schools play barely 5 or 6 OOS games a year...

This 1 private has 2 itself against good teams.

Allen - Played Hoover and ECA LA last year.

Trinity played Bellevue WA and Bentonville AR in the same season.

Don't get me wrong - I hope Dunne does well.  I hope they and others develop to higher level.

The bottom line history has proven that these team are not elite.
