Could be another Willie Williams from Carol City HS... Well hopefully he bounces back...Miami seems to be a very difficult place to be AQM Bruce Olsen Player after player either leaving or getting the boot

The Hurricanes shared the AFCA academic achievement award with Northwestern and Stanford. Miami, Northwestern and Stanford received the award after members from its freshman football student-athlete class of 2009 recorded a 100 percent graduation rate. Canes1975
No Academics? You have to be the most clueless poster on this site. Do your homework before you starting flapping your gums!!!!
Canes1975
No Academics? You have to be the most clueless poster on this site. Do your homework before you starting flapping your gums!!!! You obviously think that this is the Miami of the 80's. Trust me those days are over. Both Olsen & Bruce had issues with the Ganj. AQM got in trouble for receiving improper benefits in connection with a luxury rental car company. Even with that the University still honored his financial aid. How does an 84 year old man who's presumably followed college football since the Red Grange days not know that football players get admitted to schools they wouldn't normally get in to? Canes1975
I'm sure that every player on Notre Dame, Michigan, UCLA, North Carolina & Texas A&M are all Rhodes Scholars.

I don't follow much college football,so you may be uniformed just like your biased and foolish analogy of a secularized institution.....Many say Miami is Ground zero for those like Willie Williams who can't read at grade level or speak ENGLISH.... Miami has notr will ,not will it EVER be deemed an academic institution, rather a playground for dummies and false preachers like you. Your an arrogant, nasty, condescending brat who is very lucky to be working where you are... STA has sorrow for the disinchanted like you and have provided you, shelter, food, water and a paycheck.. "Now,go get your shine box.".... Miami is a top 50 academic institution based on rankings
paladin4ever
Drummer, I know your comments are directed at LOS, but you're way off base regarding the academics at U of M. Their law school is one of the best and the university as a whole is very highly ranked.
181pl
S Fla is a dumpster fire in general. Lots of kids grow up with only football as a way out. That unfortunate step between HS and the NFL (Kollig) messes a bunch of them up.
