I'll have to check it out. I have been meaning to come over that way on one of my trips to Ohio. I make that trip 2-4 times in certain years to attend classes with my wife in Cincy.

Is that the name of the establishment, Dixie?

Yes it is.  Located on Monmouth Street in Newport about 6 blocks up from Newport on the Levee

Dixie is no slouch...Camp Washington still has the overall edge IMO.

Yes, like anything...the mom and pop shops usually are better than the chains. However I'd still have an out of towner eat skyline.

Camp Washington is fantastic.......that's up there with Price Hill Chili. Those are the 2 best IMO. Dixie is solid.

Thought this was interesting....Mike Dyer posted it yesterday...... Crosstown Showdown position by position all star team.

Especially interested in what Zulu, nptb, and concha think of these picks

Extremely shocked to not see Terrill Byrd on the first team, but not even the second team? unforgivable

Also I would take Maurice Johnson or Mister Simpson over Darius Ashley any day.

Was glad to see Glathaar on there. He was a beast

Ricky Brown was the biggest safety that I'd seen at the time.  I would take both of the Byrd brothers on the d line and play a back 9.  I disagree about Simpson over Ashley.

Spencer Ware is still the best player I've seen from Cincinnati.

Ware over Miller is the only glaring "WTF" at first glance...although I agree that omitting Byrd is pretty bad.

I'd take Ashley over Mister Simspon...never was one of his biggest fans. I think Colerain has had several RBs better than him over the years.

Nice seeing Steve Houston getting some love...although I'm not sure he belongs in this group.

Agreed on Glathaar....pure animal.

Wouldn't mind seeing Pat Muldoon on here somewhere too.

Ware was a better player than Miller.  Miller was nice.  Ware was just better and I saw them both a few times up close.

I agree, I'd take Miller over Ware.

I think besides BJ Askew, Mister Simpson and Maurice Johnson were our 2 best backs. Mister had so much potential...he was a RB benching over 400 lbs and he was very fast for his size.  It always took multiple defenders to take him down. I also was never overly impressed with Ashley.

Yea was thinking the same about Pat Muldoon.
