Well, Camden played one of the supposed Ohio bad asses in the Herbie Challenge! And Glennville got about EIGHTY yards TOTAL offense! They scored their points on two INT's!

They had 200 total yards...36 fewer than CC. They didn't even make the playoffs. xD

And what was the offer? Ten bucks for airfare, and a Twinkie?

Essentially all expenses paid, brah.

In hindsight, Gamble probably should have thrown in a bottle of Testosterone, but who would have known Rush had no interest in tangling with Colerain again?

Coach ProPst has contacted every major school within 600 miles! And NO TAKERS, other than American Heritage, Tampa Plant, Bishop Sullivan, Hoover, and South Panola!

Okay. xD

They didnt make the playoffs because of the idiotic point system. Finishing 7-3.

They lost to Camden 23-14.

A top 5 St. Edward 17-14

And eventual State Champ St. Ignatius 24-6...

To say Glenville wasnt a good team is to lie.

I guess it's a good thing that I didn't say that. However, saying they only had 80 yards is a lie, and an easily verifiable one at that.

In any case, suffice to say that both Ed and Iggy out-gained them by significantly more than 36 yards.

St. Ed finished 8-4 and obviously nowhere near the Top 5.

Camden won because Glenville has always struggled against disciplined misdirection offenses...the Wing T in particular. For example...the team of skinny suburban kids running the Wing-T who hung 41 on them in the title game 2 years later...it was 34-0 at halftime. They were a "good team" up until that point as well.
