MA Fan
He was the catalyst behind bringing in Chris Scott and building a "national" football program...wonder what will happen now. http://pilotonline.com/sports/high-school/football/hine-is-no-longer-athletic-director-at-bishop-sullivan-catholic/article_f465724b-9ecf-54d4-a221-7f1991c00804.html
HawgGoneIt
So silly season is already beginning for some. Strange story without much detail. I guess some reasons may come out though. Curious now.

MA Fan
Article was updated with quotes from the now-former AD: Quote “After meeting with the senior administration, I have resigned my position as Athletic Director at Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School effective immediately. I have nothing but the fondest memories of my time at Bishop Sullivan and I remain proud of the institution, its programs, its staff and especially the students. ... “After my discussions today, it is apparent to both myself and Bishop Sullivan that we are both better served by a parting of the ways. Whatever differences in philosophy or approach that I may have with the administration are minor and insignificant and not the reason for my departure. My primary reason for leaving is due to a life changing career opportunity in another field.
Oldballcoach
Thats why private schools for coaches is zero sum. At the whim of an admin you are gone, no one really gives a shit, no safe guards for the coach (at least in college you have a buy out) & you have no re course. Sounds pretty similar to my employment (I'm not a coach or a teacher...in an entirely different industry), and that of many others. My employment is "at will", and I can be terminated at any time -- no safeguards, no buyout, no recourse. Do you think high school football coaches should be treated otherwise?
